Wigan sack their manager after 5 months
They are 8 points adrift with 5 games left, with some difficult fixtures IMO

Well at least I got the amount of goals right!adamworthy2002 wrote:Had planned to go to this but after somebody drove into me and drove off at the Macron car park after the Blackburn game I've had to pay £400 to get my car fixed.
Anyway, I think we'll lose. 3 - 0 to Cardiff.

Heskey's part in that was critical. A throw back to Toshack /Kegan and Quinn Phillips days. Cracker.malcd1 wrote:Good finish by Eidur.

the owen coyle effect lives on. i'm gonna start calling it "heptanosis" as that vaguely sounds like a liver disease and a rubber cement .Peter Thompson wrote:Wigan sack their manager after 5 months

Offside, handball, anything. Just trying it on. When under pressure, throw your hands up and appeal. Might just con the ref into thinking he missed something.Prufrock wrote:What in god's name is their left-back appealing for?!

Some game build up including proclaiming, in case anyone was uncertain, that Cardiff is the capital of Wales.Andy Waller wrote:What on earth does the announcer say when the teams come out???
Mind you, maybe they do have to be reminded as it only became capital of Wales in 1955 after holding off challenges from Caernarfon and Aberystwyth. they actually didn't have a capital as such between 1100 or so and 1955 but various places acted as one, Macyncleth and even Ludlow previously .... .
The best bit being that it was offered to Liverpool .... a good 20 miles outside the place and even last year Plaid were talking about wanting to include Liverpool and Merseyside in some form of Welsh authority. You couldn't make it up
