Opening day
Fixtures out tomorrow. Any preferences for first up?
As long as its not Burnley away with Birmingham at home on the last day, I'm happy

Re: Opening day
I'm up for that.......as long as it's not Brighton!
I'd like to see preston at home, with Preston away as the last game.

Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.

After 4 opening days away on the bounce, I'll settle for any home game. We need to get off to a good start this season.

Normally prefer a local away match, but I think you're right..Jugs wrote:After 4 opening days away on the bounce, I'll settle for any home game. We need to get off to a good start this season.
Would prefer someone like Rotherham at home, or somebody who's season petered out last term (like us)

Re: Opening day
I don't want a home game. My friend is getting married on the 9th of August, and I have absolutely no way out of it, nor any way to make it to match THEN wedding.
Given we've had four away day openings on the bounce, I suspect I'll be disappointed...

Thousands were spared Dean Moxey's debut. Every cloud, and whatnot.Jugs wrote:After 4 opening days away on the bounce, I'll settle for any home game. We need to get off to a good start this season.

Aye, but it wasn't long until we were subjected to him anyway. No point putting off the inevitable and all that

We had a cracking day, despite the best efforts of the feck* on the pitch to spoil it.Bruce Rioja wrote:Thousands were spared Dean Moxey's debut. I quite fancy PNE away. Failing that, a longer away trip so that I can persuade Mrs BP to get baking again. Jeez, we're getting old!!

Apart from the start, middle and end it seems a pretty decent set of fixtures.freeindeed wrote:Very tough start

I'm going peek at Notts Forest's first 15 games later. To see how the club's worst start for 743 years will pan out.

Last game of the season, Fulham, away.
Well, THAT could be fun.
... & a welcome back to Dougie on August 22nd. I have my rope ready.
