I know they got a dubious penalty, but they were possibly the better team in the second half against Preston, once they subbed off about £150m of new signings.malcd1 wrote:Sssshhhh!Zulus Thousand of em wrote:How can we break the news gently to MUFC supporters?

It was certainly better than the 4-0 spanking against MK Dons.
And, they now have Kellett.

Falcao played for their under 21's tonight. Warren Joyce had the pleasure of subbing the fckr off, after 70 mins...£260k per week...

Nowt to do with us at all but watching Van Gal's spending this summer and this past few days in particular has been extraordinary.
The De Gea episode is farcical. It's been obvious he was off months ago. The 2 clubs dragging it out & right to 2 minutes after the last minute is pathetic. Delightfully so but it is.
Then buying this 19yr old for £36m ... rising to possibly £58m !! That'd be a very large number for a highly successful player who will slot in immediately. I may eat my words in due course but b-hell that's risky money for someone still to come even close to being the finished article.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Ah but Bobo, you're missing the point. The fawning media are likening him to Thierry Henry (although, like me, none of them had even heard of him until yesterday.)
In addition he will become a perfect partner to their new Ronaldo, 'the most exciting player to emerge from their galaxy of young talent in recent years' TM. AdnanJanuzaj. Oh, hang on...

Even if this Martial turns out to be f*cking class you think, well I should hope so at that price. And at 19 there's a big chance he won't. Mental.

I'm holding off the scorn - cos I did have to eat my words when they bought not-the-realRonaldo... I wouldn't want to reverse jinx it all in their favour..
if yernited win owt this season with a rampant teenage-sensation - it'll be entirely and completely your fault, Bobo...

... which is why I added "I may eat my words" as a sort of crossing everything, jumping on one leg hex breaker. I hope it works.

Hristo Stoichkov isn't a big fan.
"I have no respect for him, he's scum," he said.
"One day, when I was injured, I was with my wife at Camp Nou and Van Gaal went up to her. He asked her how it was possible that she married someone like me. She responded that I was a Ballon d'Or winner.
"My departure in 1998 was the fault of Van Gaal, for sure."

You see ... when people ask if footballer's employment contracts are different to those of we mere mortals THIS is an example of where the player could reasonably have said that the employment relationship is broken and could reasonably claim constructive dismissal and insist the manager is taken to task and if not could walk out and join another club.LeverEnd wrote:Hristo Stoichkov isn't a big fan.

No-one has the right to say things like that to another person or employee.

I wish him all the ills that come his waythis seasonfor the rest of eternity. Their fan Base dwindles and anyone associated with them sees their dreams turn to dust as they are found to have broken many rules of the game are are forced to disband.
I hope that helped.
