24th v 4th - Birmingham (h) 20/10/15

Let's tell it as it is.

And I couldn't be bothered with a Shakespearean reference. Other than, "Stick it up yer Brum".

As well as being 4th they are unbeaten away from home. The only other two unbeaten away teams are Derby and Brighton and we held both nil all and 2 all.
So I'm going for 1 all.

1-3 Birmingham, we'll score 1st then concede 3

We'll either play well in the 1st half or the 2nd but not both, we'll miss a hat load of chances and concede a few soft avoidable goals - everyone including the manager will say we are mentally weak and need a goal scorer - repeat for the next game.....

I'm feeling a bit cheerier this morning. :D I predict a home win - 2-0. Mavies to score both.

This is one of those thank-feck-I-get-to-work-abroad weeks. Clayton Donaldson to fill his ample boots. 0-4 (Donaldson 3, Paul Robinson 1). My seat for the evening? Free to a good home - I can't even give it away.

Bijou Bob will be along in a minute offering to take it off your hands if you throw a lift in

I was going to post what a thoroughly decent chap BP was for getting me a £10 ticket. Now I feel ripped off!!

I am now in possession of Bruce's free-to-a-good-home ticket, because the potential recipient is under curfew after early release from a little time serving Her Majesty... Bruce, a man of limited compassion, was prepared to inflict Bolton Wanderers on a human being wishing to embrace the joys of liberty...

A PM to me will obtain a pass to the boiling cauldron of Tuesday night against Birmingham City... for free...

As an added bonus you have me sitting to your right...

Lennon presser. From the official Twitter, https://twitter.com/OfficialBWFC/status ... 7833261056 et passim.
I thought we were as good as Burnley, if not better, for large portions of the game.

The difference is they took their chances but we didn't. That is the best we've played away from home so far this season.

We've played pretty well in most of our games this year but just haven't put teams away. We need to convert performances into wins.

Thankfully it's not a fracture regarding Jay. If not fit for Tuesday, hopefully he'll be back for the weekend. He was playing well.

I think Casado was outstanding, both defensively and offensively. He put a number of crosses in and handled George Boyd well.

We've agreed a new deal with Zach Clough. We think he's a good talent and want to protect our asset. He can't wait to be back.

The manager has done a great job at Birmingham, but we're at home. We have belief and it only takes one win to turn things around.

We are wanting to bring another attacker in. It's about availability and affordability but that is something we want to do.

Our home form has been very good since I came in. We've got two home games now and have to make the most of that.

good to see him sounding positive - I guess he would have to even if he didn't feel it... BUT - I don't think it just takes one win to turn things round... we had that one win recently against Wolves - nothing was turned around...

it takes a decent run of wins and not getting beaten and clean sheets...

COYW!!!

As the thread title indicates it's actually the 4th Birmingham. So a total nightmare for the spotted cat.
