Where are you going tonight?

I watched them a couple of times when they first made their comeback, they're a tight live act but I couldn't be arsed this time. I imagine it will be a near identical set given their limited back catalogue.Bruce Rioja wrote:clapton is god wrote:Etihad, 19th June 2016, Stone Roses
£70+ to watch a prick that can't sing a fecking note? Fair enough. Each to their own.

Was very, very good. Maybe the best musical event so far this year.William the White wrote:This:

Really looking forward to it.

Re: Where are you going tonight?
Dan Andriano in Tunbridge Wells tonight. Seems an odd place for a gig but I've a mate lives there so it's all gravy, as the kids say.

Any good? Saw andriano on chuck ragan's revival tour a few years ago and liked him, but really didn't enjoy the Alkaline Trio gig I saw last year.

We, the cast of thousands that represent dancers annonymus, (joke)have been recalled for one last photo shoot tonight. Taking place at the new Venue Club on Churchgate (previously Kiss apparently). The place will be a Fri-Sat-Sunday venue for over 25's. It looks pretty decent but never been inside. Tonight's a private do with dancing, a bar and the dreaded cameras. Should be a decent night; looking forward to it.

Sorry dude I missed this!
F*cking excellent. I was a huge Trio fan when younger but didn't like what they became and you'll have seen then very much towards that end of things! I think Matt Skiba had a midlife crisis or something.
This was Dan solo stuff (about half of what he played on the revival tour was his solo stuff) with a full band (him, bassist and drummer, and then one guy each from the support acts which was pretty cool). Great gig and great venue - tiny place that used to be a public toilet! Only fit about 100 and the bar was 20 yards from the stage. He was hanging around afterwards too which was pretty cool.
Nah not going to Frank. Anything other than a stadium gig sells out within hours these days and I missed the announcement! You?

Re: Where are you going tonight?
Going to start this post with a very large red face and feeling a right txxx. Not my fault I assure you, because a couple involved who live close by me got the same phone call on the 27th Oct, lining us up for tonight. We shared a taxi and got there in spot on time...to find the place locked up and nobody in sight. Went in the Man and Scythe and my good friend rang an employee of the Bubble Bath Company to say very politely, W.T.F? Puzzled young girl knew nothing about tonight except that it had been moved till January? Everyone else seemed to know this because we were the onle silly xxxxxxx that turned up.clapton is god wrote:Enjoy yourself, Tango! Hope its a great night for you all.
An e-mail will be composed because this is rank bad form, particularly as friends wife put off another engagement to be there. Tried a drop of Flat Cap in the Scythe and took a taxi home in the absolute pxxxing rain.
Not your happiest chappie right now.

Last night I was at the Royal Albert Hall on freebies to see this: http://www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/ ... ectacular/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Unbe-fricking-lievably good! Really fun evening and I got to see Nessun Dorma, at the Royal Albert Hall, backed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, with freaking lasers!

Ooooh, yes. Just what we need. Think fish... think spice... think ethnic... And everywhere needs veggie option...Bruce Rioja wrote:

Re: Where are you going tonight?
Just returned from watching Frank Turner in his 1792nd gig at Manchester Academy. 28 songs, great show. The guy can rap an audience round his little finger. Full of energy, charisma and songs that are ideal for live performance.

Re: Where are you going tonight?
Great day today. Took the little un to London for her birthday treat. Spent the morning at winter wonderland which really exceeded expectations, such a tremendous set-up! Well impressed with that and daughter obviously loved it... She has been learning about London at school lately so took in a few sights after that; the palace, big ben etc then hung around cov garden for a bit watching the street performers before seeing the matinee performance of Matilda which was off the scale amazing!! Back home on the 18:00, bosh.
