HAY BASTARD FEVER. SNOT. RUNNY EYES. WHY?
Coughing up Dockers Omelettes here, chest as tight as you like, thanks to the air-conditioning assault that accompanies this time of year.

Re: The Politics Thread

So, let me get this right. A comedian with no political experience, who starred in a political satirical drama called Servant of the People in which his character accidentally became President of Ukraine, has just become President of Ukraine. Is that right or is someone taking the piss? The entire ...

Yep, well in Parky. Let's play proven-to-be-shite players who won't be here in two week's time. Let's not use these opportunities to introduce most of next season's side.
He really does make himself difficult to defend with nonsense like this.

If Brockbank plays. I’d expect a lot of changes from the game 72 hours ago. Hopefully more kids get a game. Pritchard, perhaps? EDIT Marc Iles in the paper ( link ) says O'Neil is out, Wheater doubtful, tests on Ameobi, Noone and Hobbs; Wilson expected to feature. Shirley the circumstances are bob-...

Re: General Chit Chat

The older I get, the less I see an aspiring minister flouting the law, and the more I see someone after a day's work just saying "I'm having a quiet drink on the way home'. And I say fair feck* to her. And I've never hidden the fact that I've voted Conservative since the age of 18.

A potential Home Secretary that displays a willingness to ignore the rule of law. It's an interesting non-story. Why does this law exist at all? Do we know? It was introduced by Boris Johnson in 2008 "to improve the safety and security of public transport in London and create a better environment f...

No particular fan of Diane Abbot, I. However, she's been photographed drinking from a can of mojito on a train and sections of the press have taken it upon their holier-than-thou selves to kick off about it. So 4ucking what? Who actually hasn't had a drink on public transport? Give her a break, for ...

Something's just not stacking up here. Not only does Bassini not knowing how much is owed to who smack of a lack of any due diligence, but I've just been told by a very reliable source that he wasn't aware that upon buying the club he was also buying the hotel. If that's in any way true then it can ...

A few of us went to Nick's on C-O-Rd tonight. Market Menu, plenty of choice on it, three superb courses, £25 a head. And it's a fantastic little place with excellent service too. I really do recommend it.

You have piqued my interest in Helium. I wondered what other uses it has. Anyway: Well, perhaps also you can help me too, Malc? See, I'd like to know of these multiple purposes for multi-purpose compost, because I only ever use it for planting stuff in. I'd love to know what else I could, and possi...
