Re: Red Hats and One-eyed Snakes - the ups and downs of new management.

We can't say we support a boring club lol. If this happens I am expecting terrible decisions and comments going forward, a proper clown show, but if there is genuine money (likely to come through Richards if at all), then the club might be in a better position to be sold to sensible people later on....

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Will be interesting to hear more details. So far the statements suggest Ken sold his shares for a "nominal amount". - Are Michael James and Brett Warburton still creditors? - Has Ken paid off Moonshift? - Does Bassini have the money to pay off all the unsecured creditors (£20mish) or will he try an...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Big question and concern regarding Bassini (above the obvious ones to do with him and his lack of money), is what would be the ongoing involvement of Paul Aldridge, or even the Andersons, if any?

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Ken; If you're reading, and whilst addressing the subject of loans, perhaps you could answer this? Have BWFC, Burnden Leisure or Inner Circle Invetments ever borrowed money on a short term basis against future guaranteed income, if so how was that money accounted for, and has that money been paid ba...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Football League and the supporters trust appear to be saying that he has the cash but is choosing not to spend it..... which begs the question ..... where is the cash going ?? Weren't we meant to be a club with nearly no debt, and due to be showing a small profit this financial year ........ so.......

Re: If Bolton Wanderers imploded tomorrow...

I would be devastated! Just among the people I have known, BWFC have been in my family since 1899, and probably before. My Grandfather supported the club since he was a small child until he was physically unable to go. He was on the embankment when the 1946 disaster occurred. For me BWFC is truly in...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Howards's biggest source of credibility, apart from his apparent knowledge in certain areas and the fact that his early narrative matched what was actually happening, was that he had convinced those who run WW that he was genuine, and they vouched for him. One would assume they would've taken reason...

He's talking a complete load of bollocks. Utter nonsense. Surely?
That is where I started with Howard, and now I am most definitely back there...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Article sums up the turmoil well, both in human and practical terms. Nixon suggests that the geezer last in the news two years ago for being sued for failing to pay his rent (RENT!), who suggested he will purchase without backers, hasn't come up with proof of having £30m to spunk on a football club...

Re: It's on god dammit! It's sooofolking on! BWFC v Ipswich 6/4/2019 3pm

Very relevant question in the B.N. Comments section: "Who is going to pay the I.T.technicians to work through the night?"..What a sad situation at a fine old club, all down to greed and bad handling over the game of football. I really want K.A to do one as quick as he knows how. Have to say I am st...

Can someone tell me in English what the fck is the issue with tomorrow’s game? There has been a major IT systems failure apparently. People reporting they are being told phones, ticketing systems, broadband, computer network all down. Engineers working through the night, update expected early morni...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Very interesting Bassini did the interview, and at the same time said "The money is available, I just need to have two or three things checked out with Mr Anderson and the club and then we’ll go forward, but we are very close in the coming week". Very vague, suggests it might not be done in the comi...

Given the information that is already out there, I think the rule with Bassini might be "believe the opposite of what he says unless proven otherwise" :)

For those of you who haven't been following the musings of "HowardRoark" on t'other site, his likely final words: No parting shot, just a confirmation of a few things (albeit most have been said before) 1) I was born in Bristol, yes, I found myself in Bolton for work in the mid-90’s.
