Mr couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo has signed for Bradford City.

Poor Bradford.
Any chance you could narrow it down? You could be talking about every player we've had in years :o
I'm guessing at Bradford's own Clayton Donaldson

Re: The next manager

Whoever comes in needs to instil belief and fight. Start with that give the fans a bit of hope for a better tomorrow. Given the situation I think quality is probably a bit too much to hope for!

Let's hope it's not John Aldridge involved after the last time he got involved in our transfer business :spank:
Was that when we wanted a work permit for the guy who went on to score against England, direct from a corner?
That's the one. Didn't he sign for West brom months later?

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

I'm damned sure. Onethly. Coz it had no effect on the league. Toothly. Coz it was occasioned by a footballers' strike, which pushing all bounds can hardly be accounted for (because let's face it , the PFA were always going to pay their wages) Threethly. Twelve point deduction is guaranteed. Not eve...

You haven't been able to pay cash ON a London bus in about 20 years! They used to have machines on the side of the road you could buy a ticket from in cash but they've been gone about 5 uses I think (mainly because nobody ever used them. A few people complained at the time as it was only fairly soo...

Might as well go support Chorley. Whatever a new club is called, or wherever it is based, it wouldn't be Wanderers. For me it'd be the equivalent of a Disney club.

I'm optimistic about this one. Think we'll have a couple of shots. One might even be on target.

Re: Red Hats and One-eyed Snakes - the ups and downs of new management.

Ken Anderson has said in the past he has not discounted the possibility that he may continue to run the club even if a new owner buys out his shares. With Dave Richards out of the running, could KA continue to be chairman or chief exe at BWFC? Nah, Ken's gone all Dougie Freedman and isn't safe anym...

Re: Thieves, crooks and Villains. Aston Villa (H) 19.4.19

Villa break a club record of wins on the bounce if they win. We are down. It’s usually games like this that throw up oddities. I don’t see it though - who scores the goals for us? Can’t see anything other than a defeat by at least 3 goals. The most likely is an own goal. Their goalkeeper kicks the ...

Re: The next manager

We need someone to inspire and lead, to bring the club back together and give the fans some hope for the future. Age isn't a barrier to doing that. The mettle of a person is everything to do with it.

Chorley. I'm seriously considering leaving this whole cake and arse party behind anyway and taking up with The Mags, regardless as to what becomes of BWFC. Chorley could well be playing in the National League next season, in which case, you're more than welcome to join me when they play at the West...

Fck me I thought Lincoln was nearer than an hour 20! So did me and my mates when we all piled into the back of a Transit van circa 84 and arrived there at half time :) For the record, Derby isn't in Lincolnshire. For the further record, living north and west of Derby, whilst being domiciled in Derb...

Re: If Bolton Wanderers imploded tomorrow...

I'd not bother. I've gradually lost interest in football over the last decade. Various reasons - different priorities, time, but most of all because the game has changed out of all recognition and I can't be arsed with it. If we somehow survive this mess I'll continue to follow via this site as I ha...
