Re: Not

For the sake of forum etiquette, it might help keep things in perspective if the moderation team could remember why someone was banned in the first place.

Re: Not

I, for one, are delighted to see you back mate. Hope you're well and fighting fit... Cheers, I'm feeling fitter than Bruce Forsythe, probably. You seriously abused several worthwhile contributors to this site who've subsequently left without returning. You've pulled this stunt a couple of ti...

Derik is Twatdick pt 2. All Social Media and no balls. Feck him off ASAP. I've seen stronger snooker players.
Now come along now! Nobody is that bad.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....

It is because they are at war with the West. We are infidels, scum, pigs and we deserve to die. The Muslim terrorists are willing to die for the cause because they are told that they will go to heaven with their 72 virgins. They cannot wait to die to be in paradise. They are eager and willing as lo...

Re: Today I'm angry about.....

I guess if it's all too late, we should just watch it unfold. I don't get the "apologist" bit, but I suppose in the internet age, every viewpoint needs some sort of derogatory tag. Body counts from the first gulf war were estimated at around 20-35,000 for Iraqi forces the second one conservative est...

Re: What are you reading tonight?

I thought they both passed the time. Step up from my usual heavy reading in Viz. Reasonable escapism. It's not a documentary and as for the religious angle it probably had more facts than the Bible, although these were warped for the narrative. No one would do that now, would they?

Re: General Chit Chat

I'm surprised at your age you're not in the market for a mobility scooter. I'll offer to tow it up to the Lakes with you in it. :-) No thanks I'd be breaking my own rule in regard of motoring, give a wide berth to BMW and Audi drivers. (More to the point, middle aged men playing boy racers) ...

Re: The Politics Thread

Hell, lets open the doors for Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq and anyone else to join the Nuclear club, let's see how long it is before you get your millions of dead then and some. We sorta made sure that Iraq didn't have any. You've pissed and whinged ever since. Interesting you should say that. W...

Re: What are you reading tonight?

Was chatting with a pal a couple of weeks ago about books we read in English Lit lessons at school. The only one I remember us covering which I wasn't so keen on at the time was Playboy of the Western World. Maybe if I were to read it again now I'd alter my view. Similarly but opposite, I have part...

If you think putting Kante in almost any team over Zidane is a good idea you're off your tits.
That's just laughable. Kante is 5' 5" and therefore can't play football.

Zinadine is 6' 1".

Only one winner there. We've been told.

Re: Now Den: Millwall (a), 3pm Sat 12/08/17

The conversation around "formation" in this context is pure tosh. There may well be some formations that work better for us than others. The whole conversation is around whether footballer can hit a pass to a team mate, more often than not. Doesn't matter what formation it's in. The notion that we c...

Re: Now Den: Millwall (a), 3pm Sat 12/08/17

On Saturday he had a miserable 43% pass completion rate ( stats per Squawka ): more than half the times he got the ball, he gave it away, generally with a flat waft forward. Between the 1st and 81st minutes he successfully completed just one long ball, and even that was a crossfield switch to the l...

We're in danger of getting a bit internet binary here.
As in, we can only pass it if Ameobi is on the pitch and if not we should punt it to Madine?

That sort of binary?

Re: Now Den: Millwall (a), 3pm Sat 12/08/17

You're confusing me, BWFCi, because earlier on this very thread you said this: I think Taylor and Derik would use the ball from the back better and provide a little more balance either side of Beevers. Both are a bit quicker by CB standards. Millwall will be physical I guess, but think we'd cope. D...
