(But, I think I might have missed the point of your question.)
25 years locked into that Civil Service mentality will do that.

36 years, if you don't mind!

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Last time we went down to league one I posed the question whether any other supporters had seen fewer points / as many defeats in the past 5 years. I think either Worthy or DSB answered...Sunderland and Villa were the only two worse performing teams at that point. I doubt there’s anyone else now - ...

As a cunning disguise, you may not know by my user name, but I'm a Watford fan. I'm writing on your board as I heard you have the red helmet as your new owner. I'm happy to answer any of your concerns, and have plenty of interesting stories I can share if you guys are interested. I think we'...

Why does this all feel like a money laundering exercise?

Feels like Philip Green selling BHS for £1 to three time bankrupt Dominic Chappell.

You won't see me posting on this thread until he's formally confirmed by the EFL.

He can claim that only if everything, including EFL approval, is sorted by 3pm on Friday.

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Big question and concern (above the obvious ones to do with him and his lack of money), is what would be the ongoing involvement of Paul Aldridge, or even the Andersons, if any? Heard from a very good source that as part of the deal Lee Anderson is guaranteed first dibs on matchday mascot. And Ken'...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

As has been said several times, Bassini is better than liquidation. But, even if he can satisfy the EFL that he has sufficient resources, we'll be back in court within 12 months. Can't see this ending well at all. At all? You're an imaginative man, Tony, surely you can? Here's one pissibolity: Bass...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

The council will decide tomorrow morning whether Saturday's game can go ahead. https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/17578334.boltons-clash-with-aston-villa-yet-to-get-the-go-ahead/ They work on the (not unreasonable) assumption that if staff haven't been paid, they might not turn up. I don't think ...

Re: Bolton Under 23's the Champs.

Lost our last league game of the season, 3-2 at Cardiff, with something of a fightback from 3-0 down. https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2019/april/report-cardiff-city-u23s-3-2-bolton-wanderers-u23s/ We finished sixth out of 10 in the PDL Category 2 (North) table: PDL2N.png Results aren't everything in yo...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

1. appears as though our most gracious leader has the cash but is choosing not to spend it.. 2. whose cash has he got ? his own or the money he has been advanced by the football league What a sad state of affairs..... I've seen references (in the BN, I think) to a frozen bank account. So, it might ...

An hour into the Supporters' Trust meeting, which I'm following via the BN blog https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/17575589.bolton-wanderers-supporters-trust-fans-forum-live-blog/ Two main points for me are (i) EFL say they remain satisfied the club has money to see us through to the end of the s...

'Most pay days missed' must be a shoe in for this season!

Only the March pay day has been missed (if you don't count the other ones). I think you'll find that in 1904, two pay day were missed. Possibly.

New piece in the BN on Bassini. Seems he hasn't taken the EFL test yet, but appears to be edging closer to a deal.

Chorley. I'm seriously considering leaving this whole cake and arse party behind anyway and taking up with The Mags, regardless as to what becomes of BWFC. Chorley could well be playing in the National League next season, in which case, you're more than welcome to join me when they play at the West...
