Re: League One 2019/20

Assuming Bury are in existence! Things look worse for them than us. Not even Bassini fancies a crack at Gigg Lane

Re: Red Hats and One-eyed Snakes - the ups and downs of new management.

It's an interesting read to go back a mere three months and see all the posters on here willing him on. Really? My memory is not what it was but all I recall about Bassini from posters on here, was outright skepticism. Particularly after we heard him speak for the first time on SSN. I thought then ...

I’ll kind of miss his mentalness. Bullet dodged though.

Re: The next manager

Interesting a league two club appears to be his Avenue - nobody in the championship has pitched up for him.

Me, I would sign him. There is enough churn of last years wankers without losing one of the better ones, and one who genuinely loves the club and fans.

Re: Administration and recovery

I imagine it would be the same at most championship clubs were owners to pull the plug.

The amount to Ken seems low?

Do tell.
In my simple head it was Ken’s use of a separate administration team on the hotel / ken being a pain.

Re: Administration and recovery

Significant breakthrough and a new football ventures company registered at company house for the hotel. You don’t have to be a genius to work it out. Shame a lot of the people commenting on the BN website are f*cktards!

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

I believe there is a link between Palace / Matthews and BWFC. I think he shags an ex page 3 bird, wears his BWFC ‘merch’ In public and likes to get mentions on twitter...when the going is good.

Alnwick > Matthews
But yeah, get a fee FFS! Palace are cheeky bastards...haggle for months over an uncapped right back and complain about not quite good enough for the top 4 Zaha being low balled!

I never really get the criticism of Iles.

Nixon on the other hand, is a complete bell-end.
I sat next to Isles at William the White's play. He wears the most dreadful cheap shoes.

Otherwise I wholeheartedly agree on both counts.

The clubs social media bid has posted photos of ‘the lads’ (all 6 of them) starting pre season training today. Top trolling! We’re a feck* disaster 😂😂

Re: Administration and recovery

Presumably Michael James has a significant role to play as one of the major creditors and wants the role on the FV board?

We don’t want this bell end Bassini FFS!

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Don’t blame him for going at all! If I were him I would have gone to play for a team in the championship where I could develop in an actual football league but he’s gotta look after himself, might be his last big move! https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2019/june/statement-from-the-joint-administrators/ He...

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Suspect the admin put a sensible price on it, Celtic will have given us a few hundred grand to not mess about with it. Once his heads gone there’s little point fighting. I’d wish him all the best etc but I’m not that arsed really, 10 games for us, plenty of time injured, he’s hardly gone down as a c...

Meh, I totally get him going and have no issue...the contract things probably the difference of a few hundred grand, and who would get the cash anyway? The creditors? I think he’s making a poor career move though...jockoland 😂

Marc Iles spouting that he may be giving 14 day notice as he haven't been paid. If so then off you go you poor man's Charlie Bucket. Confirmed. Another thanks Ken! It’s a shame he can’t be convinced to hang on to get us a fee; but if he wants to ruin his career playing pub football - off yer pop. W...

In other news Clayton Donaldson has the feck* cheek to moan about somehow managing to scab a contract as a professional footballer. If there’s ever a footballer who didn’t deserved his (championship) wages...

Sammi to Forest tomorrow, apparently. I'm pleased for him. He's definitely a championship level player and could thrive in a better side.
It’s pretty fecking annoying we didn’t get a fee...not like we couldn’t do with the cash...
