Re: Release or rehire?

I would like to retain Williams and Connolly - I think Buckley is wildly inconsistent, but gets into good positions and would do well for us next season

They were the only 3 I ticked

We could play all of out strikers on the pitch at the same time and they still wouldn't average more than 0.8 goals per game or whatever it's been. It's not about the formation. It's about them not being very good at kicking the ball in the direction of the goal. Imaging if we played 2, or 3 up top....

An absolutely tragic waste of life and a despicable act of terrorism. Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about how scared they must have been in their final moments. At least they had the consolation of knowing that they had an afterlife. Unlike us poor atheist sods... I don't think that was goi...

Re: He said it's Wednesday on Tuesday, who could argue! - Shef Wed (H) 12/03/19

The only difference between the teams was quality in the area. they scored 2 good goals (the first one, out of nowhere). We looked as good as them in every other department, but when you've got lads on 30k per week finishing, you've a hell of a better chance at winning games. Money buys you goals, g...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

I'm saying that Ken is no doubt playing a game of brinksmanship. But we know a deal was agreed (announced by Ken and retweeted by Basran) and then suddenly during due diligence Basran "pulled back".... Due diligence was always likely to cause a re-negotiation. But we were at a point on Friday, afte...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Interesting Boris, thanks, and sorry to hear your littl'un's day might be spoiled. If food is involved, it might be affected by Heathcotes' announcement this morning (or rather their meeting this afternoon, or rather - if we get right down to it - the fact that our glorious club hasn't paid them). ...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

It's my sons 3rd Birthday on Saturday and we've booked one of those family packages things, where you meet the players, get a signed shirt and ball etc and go pitchside for the warm-up - Cost us about £120.00 with the ST upgrades A Lady at the hospitality part of the club has called us to say, basic...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

I dearly hope this goes through - And that we give Parkinson some time and support to see this through without having a grey cloud over the club and players all the time. Hopefully, some positivity will filter it's way through to the dressing room and we'll pick up some more points - Because more of...

It disturbs me, that people want her lawyers to exploit loopholes so that she can come over here... Well, I say disturbs.. It just pisses me off. Bangladesh have told her to sling Abu Hamzer's hook. Which puts it all in a difficult position, other than the obvious first past the post race, which we won! Yipee! The usual Guardian lot are saying Bangladesh are entitled, but we're not, which I don't understand - The best thing that can happen, i...
