Re: A welcome on the hillside......V Swansea at home, Sat 10-11-18 , 3-o'clock.

Thanks pru for saying you don't go. If I didn't go, wasn't a STH I might be able to turn a blind eye and forget about it and say on to the next match. But I can't justify paying and having to go and watch the dire negative games each time and knowing when and not if the opposition scores, usually w...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Whys Ken so upset at the ground being listed as a possible community asset? It's not because his only way to turn a tidy profit would be to sell the ground is it? Genuine question Not a question I can answer, but surely it has to look like an unshackled asset as a bargaining tool to business/real e...

...but he won't ditch it. Nor will he invest. It's all very very depressing. We don't need any new signings, or a new manager, so much as a new owner.
As soon as possible. That pair of wankers are just an embarrassment to the club.
And I'm not having any of this saving the club shite.

Re: Should Phil Parkinson be sacked?

I'm still saying no, because of the ownership situation.
If we get new owners and a bit of cash then I'd be all for a fresh under a new manager.

I'm trying to imagine Bruce as a vicar. There's a potential sitcom idea there.

Re: Zeros and Villans: Aston Villa (A) 30/9/17

Alf works his socks off but generally he's chasing long high balls he's no hope of winning. If we're less direct and he's closing centre backs down quickly it could work. I dunno, but it's a change of approach and worth a go? ALFs all round play was great in his first spell, some of his interplay w...

Re: What are you watching tonight?

Been to watch Oxide Ghosts, a 20 year anniversary documentary of the Brass Eye TV series. Mainly unseen footage. Obvs most of the great stuff went in but there are some gems, worth trying to catch if you're a fan (it's touring). Followed by a Q&A which was, as all Q&As ever have been, a bag of shit...

Re: Today I'm angry about.....

Fair. I'd be surprised if it wasn't a man just because few women are dumb enough to get caught at the criminal bar in their 30s/40s as I infer SB is, but quite right. What was the take on good ol'Ched?? It took on all the hysterical shite about 'going back to the 70s' by allowing evidence from a pr...

By pretty good tom do you mean we might SCORE a GOAL? I heard doing that was quite exciting??
Easy, Tiger.
I've seen 3 games this season, 0-4, 0-3, 0-1. I'm desperately holding out for a goalless draw next.

How do you know it's a he? Could be a she. Or gender fluid. Transphobe!

I read THEIR blog about Ched Evans and a few other bits, very interesting.

Lots of Neko Case recently. Lovely stuff.
I remember listening to her a few years ago, will look up on Spotify.

On a slightly different note, Supersuckers. Playing Brudenell in Leeds in a few weeks, looking forward to it. They should be a lot of fun.

He definitely starts off in the wrong direction just as the ball is kicked. Possibly question footwork. Sounds like he made up for ir though, amazed he's dropped him at Bristol.

Right, we've got a tough-tackling midfielder and now Sammy is back. Time to start seeing some improvements over the next few games. A bit of pride is the best we can hope for from this. Unless BCFC are as shit at playing against 10 as we were last season.

Down to 10. Wow, it's getting better. Morais Red, deserved too. Went in on the lads ankle. Iles defending him, saying it was a terrible decision and a nothing challenge. So much better. We have a midfield!!
Just need to work out the attacking malarky! :D
And the defending malarkey. That was shite. Massive gap at RB with Little chasing the ball and no-one covering the winger. Utter wank.

I'd of taken PT's suggestion of Joey Barton myself... Isn't he banned for gambling? Yep, think he's banned for 2 years I thought he had appealed and it had been shortened. Might be wrong. Doubt we could afford him so its a moot point. Hey Joey, want to come and join your old mate Karl? They'd be ma...

Re: Bouncing back in Bristle? You must be off your Bristol Cities. Bristol City v Bolton 26/9/2017

I worked at Bristol Old Vic in the early 1990s (part time about 3 days a fortnight) so made a good number of friends amongst the Robins fans... So have had messages of 'good luck' over the last couple of weeks... My answer is all we have to do to lose is show up... And, it seems to me, was ever thu...

Wheatgerm is a harsh nickname! Wholesome and healthy. Unless you have coeliac disease. Autocorrect weirdness. I wonder if the £4500 thing has been changed as part of the relaxing of the embargo. No point asking anyone at the club it seems. Unless ken decides it's in his interests that we know this,...
