The TW mods are becoming progressively more worried about the type of sites visited by member 472, Tango Dancer. Short entry due to the World Cup I suppose. Monty's best of a sparse bunch. Over to Canada. WINNER Sorry - didn't see this yesterday. Never won, never expected to win however sparse the ...

I have no idea what it is - I was taking the piss out of 'Cash in the Attic', which is a BBC show.
Think it must be a book. Not one I know though.

Dammit, 9! Same for me because I didn't know "Flowers in the attic" The BBC daytime gameshow where people flog their old flowers at car-boot sales to fund a new set of golf clubs/holiday/extension/new wheelchair for grandma? And of course anyone working full time would know all about that. :...

One of the best captains England had was Bobby Moore. He directed from the back and watched the whole picture. A defender can do this far better than anyone going forward. Beckenbaur was another example of this, Hiero yet another. That's why my vote is for Terry. He's a good player, committed to the...

The Walcott thing was totally inept lunacy. Did he ever intend to play him? and if he did, then why didn't he show? All he did was keep out any number of proven strikers who would have been proud to pull on their county's shirt on the say-so of the Arsenal transfer board. The milk was spilt a long t...

Football is an industry. The days when it was a game are long gone. It is a multi-billion dollar extravaganza where fat cats take all the cream and don't do anything obvious to earn their pay. Erikson's laughable salary was a prime example. How can a man who exibits all the passion of a dead cod on ...

I'm a Man U fan and I hope ronaldo never puts on the red shirt again, absoute fking disgrace he is. Whether he actually had any influence in getting Rooney sent off, only the ref knows. He did well for not losing his temper though, 2 years ago he would of ripped his head off (like he deserves). How...

Got up early and cut the lawns. Named all the buttercups and daisies after Portugese players and mowed em down with gusto. Strolled down to the shop for the papers. Bacon sarnie brunch in the sunshine, afternoon just lazing about reading. Steak and salad tea under the gazebo and the storm struck rig...

He can't hear you. He's gone off to spend his ill-gotten gains.

I don't so much blame him as those who chose him. Same thing with MacLaren. The selection board are the real culprits. They know as much about football as I know about Aborigine rain dances. That ain't a lot, believe me.

Okay, let's calm the action and put this thing in perspective: Firstly, Rooney was being battered around by not one, but three Portugese defenders. He had to put his foot down somewhere and he did it between the legs of a player on the floor. Since he was facing the other way at the time andd fallin...

Crouch did try hard yesterday but Portugal was really pretty poor, they looked like they were playing for penalties too (good choice). There were several instances yesterday where Crouch's lack of skill cost England good chances. Gee HP, it looks like we are opposite ends of the spectrum yet again....

As I said in a previous reply, I stand by what I said. Football has gone to the dogs because of cheating. It is rampant in the game and is ruining it. England are not good at it, prefer not to do it, and enter tournaments like this knowing damn well what will happen. This is just a lie, Joe Cole, A...

In one word: CHEATED . Not one member of the England team dived, tried to get anyone sent off, or did the agony act. Credit to them for that. On the other side of the coin, Portugal dived, tried to get everyone sent off and played the agony card at every challenge. Tell me I'm wrong. Rooney's sendi...

How is that not cheating? Winding someone up is not cheating. It's taking advantage of the opponent's weakness, like shooting from distance on a dodgy keeper or throwing SWP at Henrik Pedersen when he's at left back. Rooney doesn't know people are going to try and get him sent off? It's his own fau...
