Re: Heading to the Riverside for Pulisball. Middlesbrough (a) 19/9/18 745pm

So, Houghton and....it's over the bar for a wallop. Ben and.....some chat about this and that, then......a throw to them...no, a free kick. And....they set off again. Tell you what lads, lets try an attack and frighten em. No points lost for losing, only for winning. Free kick us and....a chat, then...

Re: Heading to the Riverside for Pulisball. Middlesbrough (a) 19/9/18 745pm

Mic man not surprised at the formation...really? But hey, lets get cracking. Free kick to start. The homers sally at us and...Downing got a cross in already and Grounds collides with a goal post. Corner them, Downing and...Ben grabs it. Vela can't control and the homers come again. Grounds beaten ea...

We're apparently playing in our third choice blue strip? Teams are out a nd ready to roll in what's described by micman as a "night club atmosphere" whatever that means. Ah well, let's roll it. COME ON YOU WHITES...ER BLUES? :oyea: :oyea:

Pasties V Yorkshire puddings. War of the Roses part 563: I don't bother hating anybody, just a waste of good stress-free time, but I can dislike some folk with impunity due to knowing others may feel the same. One of those is Tony Pulis. Don't know why, he just is. That said he is a wily, shrewd man...

Re: 3-5-2 at home?

So another serious question, should the manager & coaching staff not be coaching the players during the week to start on the front foot more & get forward more and support the striker, get more crosses in, play at a quicker tempo, stop playing as many sideways passes I doubt anybody is going to dis...

Re: 3-5-2 at home?

O’Neil and Williams aren’t defensive midfield players. Most teams fill their midfields with this type. Only Bolton fans who seem to class anyone who isn’t Okocha as a ‘CDM’. The fact is that had Williams played as he did at Preston we’d been better. The issue at home might not just be formation but...

Re: Stephen Darby

Didn't know he was married to Steph Houghton, captain of England's Ladies football team and herself a really good footballer/defender. I've watched her many times on televised games. What a truly awful thing to have happened. His family must be absolutely devastated. Pray they find a cure and he can...

Absolutely tragic for any human being. Words won't help anything for the poor bloke except to commiserate with him and his family, but the thoughts from here are genuine and positive. I'll pray for him.

Re: 3-5-2 at home?

Not a diatribe, more comment: The "English" game, with two full backs, three half-back and five forwards (two wingers, two inside forwards and a centre forward) , got lost initially( along with the Home Internationals) because of the crowd-pleasing Harlem Globe Trotters style of individual skill mer...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

There's another faction here too beside the "Parky is clueless" and the "Parky can do no wrong" entities: Third one is the "You're only as good as your last game" convenient memory merchants who, whenever we have a less than perfect game resort to glass half-empty philosophy. Yes, against Q.P.R we w...

Saw the Sammi report earlier. Pretty sickening. I know it's not just us but every year we seem to have a top player occupying the Quinton Fortune sicknote suite.

Re: Venarated to the top once, will the Wally repeat the Hollow folly? - QPR (H) 15/09/18

Couldn’t believe the amount of corners we had and time and time again we only had five men in the box when they had all 11 in there. Three Bolton players stuck on the half way line. Don’t like it when we try to play football. We don’t have the players or the creativity in the middle to do it. Hit i...

Re: Venarated to the top once, will the Wally repeat the Hollow folly? - QPR (H) 15/09/18

Missing a focal point at home for me. Last season at his best Madine made things happen at home with his ability to back into defenders. Magennis is better away because of his channel runs. At home we lack tools to break teams down . Especially when Ameobi isn’t playing well or at all. Why so? Madi...

Free kick them via Wells. Scores and chat as the Rangers make a sub. And chat, chat, and.....we get a throw. Williams, New lad, they clear, Ostumers, Beavers, Wilschutt goes and....we don't get a free kick and.....oohhhhhh keeper makes a save and.....Magennis wins a corner and.....cleared and...back...
