Turns out (according to local news) that the Saints owner died very suddenly...I guess that might have had some bearing on this decision?

That's at least what I overheard from another room whilst the local news was on TV.

If true, some media outlets will have to eat some humble minge-pie.

I feel sorry for all the "real" people working at the club, the little people, but this kind of mis-management of money and debt will destroy the game if it goes unpunished.

The points deduction took an age to be handed out and they keep looking like they will get away with it.

Anyone struggling with a 3G after updating to iOS4.0 needs to disable as much of the spotlight feature as you can put up with (the search function when you go "all the way left" of the home screen) via settings > general...etc.

You'll find your 3G is much better after that.
