Re: *COMPETITION* - Win tickets for the WhiteHot Reunion Din

Ps. You may have to watch a couple of times but I'm there. I walk in front of the stand. You can see a guy in glasses and a chequed shirt hugging eagles, talking to Klasnic etc.

Re: *COMPETITION* - Win tickets for the WhiteHot Reunion Din

Hi All, Long time reader but tend not to pass comment too much on here. I was going to start a thread about this but never thought it was worth saying. At the last game of the season last year when we played Stoke I couldn't get a ticket! I have a season ticket at Bolton and travel to the games from...

Re: Derby away

Genuinely LOL when I read rubbish about us going down. Throw all the cliches, 'domed', re-reading the league table out via a post, PPG, Coyle Vs. Freedman... etc... We ain't going down!

I have confidence in Dougie and I'm optimistic about the clubs future with him at the helm!

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager

Bearing in mind the dissaster he is clearing up he'll do fer me. Yep. Definitely has a clear plan and thinks confidently and long term, whether it works remains to be seen but we've not seen anyone with such a strategy for a while! I just hope he doesn't come on here read people making unflattering...

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread

Not sure if its been posted elsewhere but from a very reliable source Afobe has been sent packing back to Arsenal. He was garbage - will end up at Brentford or Leyton Orient etc. in a couple of years time.

Re: Everton In The Cup

On a negative note - Are there a bigger bunch of to55ers than Everton fans? Every time we play em, there's bother of some sort. We were in the west upper. Clearly something happened further along after they scored the second but I couldn't see what it was. Could any of you see it? What as going on?...

Re: Everton In The Cup

I thought for the first 15mins we were headless chickens and we showed them too much respect giving them too much time on the ball in our half, but after that it was very much a 50/50 end to end game and the draw would have been the fair result. The only negatives to take away from that game today w...

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread

Your absolutely right he does possess those traits but not at the required level.

The proof will be in the pudding when/if he is sold, in terms of value and the standard of team that signs him. He won't be signing for a premier league club that's for sure, contrary to reports.

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread

I like ngog but he cant have long on his contract. Plus he's never fit. beauty is in the eye of the beholder..... I really don't understand why so many rate N'Gog on here. He's a striker yet; - he struggles to hold up the ball - he can't beat a man - he's not a natural finisher - isn't blessed with...

Does anyone know exactly how many we have given away this season? We must be heading for some sort of record?

I don't want to keep dwelling on the past but did BSA take Modric on trial and declined him based on his physique?

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread

'We could have got Samuel Eto'o for eight million euros from Majorca,' he revealed of his time at Bolton. 'But the chairman was too tight to pay at the time even though I said, "Here is a £20m player for you." Big Sam in today's Daily Mail.

Re: Petrov to Espanyol

I think the big question is who we can replace him with. We replaced Klasnic with Afobe, for example. He has undoubted quality that can be the difference in a game in this division; this is the kind of player that clubs like Millwall, Watford etcetera do not have. It's the kind of player that eleva...

He sounds desperate for Holden to return. I just hope he is not rushed back. I still have this worry that he won't ever play again... Like Paul Lake.

You sat in the North Lower and missed Haynes' header at the back post in the first half. It was arguably chance of the game!

Excellent. Onwards and upwards (and if I'm not mistaken, the 1st time we've not had a negative goal difference since the start of the season!) 'Fraid you are. We lost the opening game against Burnley 0-2 then beat Derby 2-0 and followed that up with a 2-2 draw against Forest. Fair dos - here's hopi...

Re: Wanderers v Charlton

Poor performance. Great result. The next 3 games will decide our season. Peterborough (23rd) Sheff Weds (24th) and B'ham (19th). It's got to be 7 points from those 3 games. Sh!t or bust!
