Re: Wanderers v Charlton
The team for tomorrow is; Bogdan, Mears, Knight, Ricketts, Warnock, Andrews, Spearing, Butterfield, Chungy, Eagles, K.Davies I think that is the best side we can put out considering the injury to Mavies. Some would swap Mears for Riley but personally I think that is our strongest Xi. Cheers, Dougie...

Re: Mark Davies
I remember him going down on his shoulder on Saturday. I was in a box and saw him walking towards the sideline holding his arm in the sling position. I said to my Bro at the time that he was going to be going off with it as he looked in some pain. It must have been from that.

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager
I remember going to QPR away a handful of games into Allardyce's tenure. The turnaround was remarkable. A good set of players that had been shipping as many goals as they could score suddenly looked like a superb team. 1-0 away win, that we'd never have got only a few weeks previously. It'd probabl...

Re: Huddersfield Away
We're going to hear about second-half domination but the facts remain: We scored a soft own goal, missed a penalty and conceeded in the last five minutes again...against Real Huddersfield. Premiership, tremble not. A point away in this division is always a good one. Granted, disappointing to throw ...

Re: Huddersfield Away
Firstly, great game of football. First half was an even contest. We had two really good chances to be in front before they (us) scored from a corner. Second half we played really well. Lots of good interchanges of passing play which resulted in some good chances. Andrews sat deep as expected and Eag...

Re: Huddersfield Away
Looks like Freedan is going with this lineup tomorrow according to a reliable source;
Bogdan, Ricketts, Knight, Mills, Warnock, Andrews, Spearing, M Davies, Eagles, Chung Yong, K Davies
The strongest and most sensible lineup we have available in my opinion.

Homesickness. Definition. The feeling that namby pambys get when they are not at home. I remember when I was at Primary school and a few of my mates came round for a sleepover. One of the lads got 'homesick' (even though he only lived less than 2 miles away) and had to have his mum pick him up. Thi...

Re: Sussex by the sea!
What an absolute dicking that was. Poor team selection. Mears dreadful, end of. How he is in the team ahead of Ricketts is beyond me. Brighton should have won by at least 5. Bogdan pulled off 2 or 3 world class saves. We got in behind them once and that's when we scored. We chased shadows for the ma...

Re: The Tykes Thread
I think the biggest issue we face at present is out mind set as a club. People keep saying that we should be hammering teams like Barnsley. Absolute twaddle. This league is a hard tough slog, you don't turn up and beat anyone. Sooner our players, staff and fans accept this, the sooner we'll get out...

Re: The Tykes Thread
Where Dougie let himself down today was making the Butterfield for Andrews substitution with 30minutes to go. We was crying out for a Klasnic. The lad's barely played in a year ... I'd not be surprised if there's an arrangement with Norwich not to push him too hard. too early. What it did, finally,...
