I dont see what the problem with Graham is.. He is a very good manager and has won many trophies. The thought of Irvine,Dowie and Sturrock doesn't give me the same confidence. I think the main problem is that he's been out of the game for so long that, should he take up a position now, he'd be outd...

So are you the type of fan who has a go at others on matchday a1, or do you suffer in silence? I can probably count the occasions I've said bad to one of 'us' on one hand. Bet there are plenty on herew who like telling people to shut the f*ck up though. Needs it sometimes as well. Shut the f*ck up....

What's really irritating is that some users want to take the piss with a forum they've done nothing to help run. It's like trying to kick the breeze keeping the balance right so everyone is welcome, new and old. People misbehave, get a warning, misbehave some more and then effectively ask for a refu...

Went to a student socialist movement meeting today.....far better than I expected. I was expecting pretentious bullshiterry about principles. What I got was well thought out activism, and a good night in the pub afterwards. Very impressed. What was this "well though out activisim", then? Always avo...

today I am mostly reading Charlie Brooker's "Dawn of the Dumb" - compilation for his Guardian TV columns - and other stuff (GQ?) quite entertaining if you like reading someone who knows how to rant properly! I've just managed to read about a quarter of Screen Burn over the past couple of days. Abso...

Having just heard Nugent say he was "over the world" after scoring two for the dingles, I thought we should have a thread on the idiotic things we've heard footballers/managers/commentators say.
Over to you lot.

Sifting through this thread, a few thoughts: You can't feck with the first two Oasis albums. They're absolute beasts. If anyone has written a better basic guitar, bass, drums and vocals track than Slide Away since 1994 I've not heard it. Radiohead have gotten better with age, peaking with In Rainbo...
