Hundreds to name but one that springs to mind is Bloc Party's 'Another Weekend in the City', b-sides taken from the 2nd album, well worth a listen, could have been an album of it's own I reckon (It's not an official release, it was compiled by fans)

he plays alot of double hi-hat rythms which may explain why it sounds like that. As for the band they are one of my favorites. Unfortunately for drummers, the good ones don't stand out as much as guitarists, they seem to get put in a corner.

I play, got a Arbiter flat kit and a Yamaha electric kit, been playing for about a year, I'm a big fan of Bloc Partys drumming, Hunting for Witches has brilliant drumming. Dave Grohl was brilliant as a drummer, I think he still drums for Tenacious D, but he's even better since Foo Fighters.
