Re: Stanley Cup Time

What do you reckon to the Rangers chances? It will be tough against Washington who will surely be massive favourites, but NY have the better head-to-head record throughout the season. I think the thing that could be the Rangers downfall is their record at home this season and Callahan is a huge loss...

Hi Monty, I have been monitoring the results as much as possible, even though it is difficult from over here. I was aware of going 3-0 down and it is now very unlikely that the Rangers will progress. Never mind, at least I have saved myself a small fortune. Through the US version of Ticketmaster, I ...

The play-off games have been shown live on NASN over here which I get as part of my Setanta subscription. Due to the time difference though they tend to be on too late so they are replayed later on the next day. Throughout the regular season, they tend to show a game every couple of days. In fact, t...

Thanks Monty,

A bar will probably be the best (and cheapest) option.

I just hope they can stay in contention for as long as possible, beating the Devils was a great start.

Here's hoping.

Let's Go Rangers!!!

Thanks for the info. From what you say, perhaps it would be better if the Rangers end up playing Montreal. As for tickets, I have seen all the available outlets, but as you say, seeing as the dates are as yet unknown it is difficult to get any information. From what I have read, it would seem ticket...

FAO Monty (or any of the US based members)

Hi Monty, Not posted as much as I would have liked on here but just wanted to say well done to the Canadiens in beating the Bruins, a five goal shut-out in the deciding game was a superb result. You may remember I while ago that I said I followed the Rangers and at the time they were struggling, how...

Enjoy the new car Batty The missus bought a second hand MG a couple of years ago, terrible car, no end of problems with it. Ended up part-exing it a year later at a huge loss with the amount spent on it. Wishes she would have got an MX5 now. I currently drive a (company) Toyota Avensis. Got to say I...

Ahem.....
There is a download limit on the free service and the £5 option. Even though I have downloaded plenty of music, never hit the limit.

Hi Bench, I've got Sky Broadband, just the basic free package which is about 2MB. Got to say that I have had no problems with it to date (touch wood!!) and it was really easy to set up. When you have registered with them over the phone, they send you a letter to confirm and a date in which it will b...

Sorry Monty, HD is High Definition.

Hope that sports do look better, I currently get a lot of pixelisation when watching in 'normal' at the moment on an LCD TV so I hope this cures it.

Sky HD

Hi Guys,

Just ordered Sky HD. Was wondering if anyone on here has it and what they thought of it. I have seen the demos in the shops and have been pretty impressed so thought I would give it a go.

Cheers.

Not been around for a few days. My work means that I can be out of the office for 2/3 days at a time which means I can't post.

Good to meet Batman in person before Saturday's game.

Sluffy, I am surprised you remember me from BB, especially HB - she was really surprised.

I will be sure to say hi on Saturday.

Sluffy, I did post under a different name quite a while back on BB, but did not post very often.

I'm afraid so Warty. Although ask anyone from Radcliffe and they will say it happened in Bury (outside Derby high). Mind you, when anything bad happens in Radcliffe (which is fairly regularly), I say I live in Ainsworth. Or Bradley Fold. Or Little Lever. Some parts of Radcliffe are worse than others...

Sitting near Batman is not so bad once you get used to the smell :D (sorry Batty) I will probably let on at Saturday's game now. To let you kno...

Hi Everybody

Hi Everybody, Been reading the site for a few weeks now. Decided to register when I saw all your pictures in the photos thread and realised that I sit directly 2 rows behind Batman (I am now his official stalker!!). Will probably read more than I post but just thought I would say hi. Also got really...
