Does Toal start after a hard game on Tuesday? Probably, but I’d be somewhat tempted to bring in Forrester. Coleman Toal Santos Iredale Sheehan JDC Maghoma Thomason Williams Bod Collins I can't see Forrester starting given how well Toal's been doing. I see Forrester on Monday's game though. Your lin...

Charles…well he has form for not training when not happy I think. Indeed. I'm not wanting to cast aspersions on Charles, but it does very much seem like he was unsettled during the transfer window, whether that be speculation with other clubs, contracts not being given or the fact that we were look...

Summat off now with Charles - trained with Northern Ireland. Baxter, think they have just been hoping, and he’s out for the season. Either way, doesn’t look good. Need a 1-0 here, can’t see us scoring more than 1. It is strange. Plenty of concerning thoughts on the matter. Is it a repeat of his tim...

We are now at the business end where results are more important than the performance. Northampton have given the top 6 hope that 2nd can be caught, I think we need to be careful that we aren't. Stevenage will be stinging from the Carlisle draw and will be up for this. Will we see Baxter and Dion ba...

Re: The Nostradamus file....

Just a general interest item to note, but nice to see...: JAMES Trafford has been given his first call-up to the full England squad for Tuesday night’s friendly against Belgium. ae:) ae:) That's both good and bad news. On the one hand he's getting his call up to the national team and on the other h...

Re: Race to the tape: 2024's League One promotion campaign

Great result if and only if we can take advantage. Given recent results, I have serious doubts. Obviously hoping I will be proven spectacularly wrong this time next week. It’s certainly a huge boost. We’ve hit the fabled international break rest we’ve been talking about for so long and had the mass...

Re: The Nostradamus file....

So, another week devoid of Whites action looms. International games have interest, but not like the Supers. I only support two football teams; Bolton and England and, whilst keeping an eye on the rest, another week without the league battles is less than appealing. I care not that some upstart does...

Re: Not exactly a Derby. Away to The Rams, Sat 16th March 3-0'clock.

Great news regarding the Derby game. Saw that as an easy win for Derby so to see them unsettled is good. They've got Blackpool at home and Portsmouth away so there's more at stake. We're still back to winning our games to make it count. If we beat Portsmouth and Derby beat Portsmouth we'll be three ...

Dion Charles & Eoin Toal are in action tonight 9.45 vs Romania (in Bucharest), and Zac Ashworth's Wales U21 are listed tonight at 6pm.
I think that's 19-45 Mar. ?
You are right, it was a type o.

Josh Sheehan is in the Wales squad v Finland tonight on BBC I Player at 7-45 Sheehan didn't feature last night, but Wales are one game away from the Euros, they've just got to get past Poland (who beat Estonia 5-1). Ukraine v Iceland Georgia v Greece Are the other two finals. Dion Charles & Eoin To...

So after travelling all the way to Sydney, Jones didn't play, but has yet another opportunity when he travels to Lebanon. A lot of travelling for the guy to sit and bench watch.

Re: The Nostradamus file....

Thought it might be an idea having a place to discuss current Wanderers things as they happen rather than interfere with specific match threads and following our fortunes . A sort of diary of what's happening, news and predictions till time for the Whites to march forth. Don't get much sense readin...

Re: Not exactly a Derby. Away to The Rams, Sat 16th March 3-0'clock.

I saw no reason as to why we can't overturn a 4pt deficit on Derby to be honest. They'll drop more points than we will in the run-in. There. I said it Wishful thinking, I like it. The Pompey games will be the deciding factor as to whether we can get back into it. Derby, despite looking on a par wit...

Re: Not exactly a Derby. Away to The Rams, Sat 16th March 3-0'clock.

The only thing I will say is that we dont seem to know how to change a game to win it. It seems like the gaffer pre plans his changes... "Forwards and wing backs, run yourselves to the ground. On the 70 min mark, we will change both forwards, a wingback and a midfielder at 75 mins". Predictable eac...

Re: Not exactly a Derby. Away to The Rams, Sat 16th March 3-0'clock.

XG this & XG that....is this what football has become ! We've won 4 out of the last 12, that's the stat that I'm more concerned about. XG and possession hasn't helped us get the points we should have got since Xmas has it - what do points make ? How would you track how well we are doing? Feelings? ...

Re: Not exactly a Derby. Away to The Rams, Sat 16th March 3-0'clock.

That’s the exact issue, I’m a huge believer in data. You have to use it. You have to understand how to use it also. You say you are a huge believer in data, but you never use it to back up any of your arguments. All I see is feelings and discrediting stats based upon feelings. Our form is mid table...

Re: Not exactly a Derby. Away to The Rams, Sat 16th March 3-0'clock.

I know I might be a target for ass-kicking victim of the year, but stats and research are just another title for what is no more than educated guesswork when people are involved. Ask Devon Loch! Not sure i'd call you a target for ass-kicking, but I would say that anyone thinking stats count for not...
