Re: No nonsense, Ronseal type of deal. Barnsley Away. 3rd May 2024 19.30pm
Most goals per shots and still we are not happy at a lack of killer instinct. What an infuriating team! You score 0 of the shots not taken. Weve had plenty of games this season where we've had loads of shots and plenty of games where we seem a bit shy of shooting. The contrast is stark and sure, it...

Re: No nonsense, Ronseal type of deal. Barnsley Away. 3rd May 2024 19.30pm
Talk football. Talk Adeboyejo. Word is Vic may be fit to start. What say? Collins and Charles will start unless either has picked up an injury. If Adeboyejo is as fit as claimed there could be an argument for bringing Collins off the bench for the away leg. We’ve not really had any impact off the b...

Re: No nonsense, Ronseal type of deal. Barnsley Away. 3rd May 2024 19.30pm
I don’t think Barnsley have the time to do anything which would materially improve their chances now. On a different note, do we think Vic, Dan and Jerome all make the bench? Personally I think we need to save a space for Coleman, so I’d be leaving Dan out. Vic on the bench having not played for mo...

do we think Vic, Dan and Jerome all make the bench? Personally I think we need to save a space for Coleman, so I’d be leaving Dan out. Although Coleman was off the bench on Saturday - presumably "reward" outweighing "risk" - I'd be very surprised if he's not on it at Barnsley. He was on the bench f...

Re: No nonsense, Ronseal type of deal. Barnsley Away. 3rd May 2024 19.30pm
There's a lot of we've got to go and win it flying around, but this is another game where we don't have to win it to still be in contention. I'd like to think that it would be lessons learned by missing out on 2nd but it's still time to play after the final whistle on Friday. Given this is a two leg...

I'm sure the offside trap on the half way line isn't doing us any favours. They need to cut that out.

Re: We Must Beat-a-borough - Away v Peterborough, Sat Apr 27th 12:30
In a way you can’t read owt into it - Derby have won it we’ve switched off, but there was a chance at half time and it’s been shite since then. It is somewhat worrying. You’d fancy playing us put it that way! You'd be confident of scoring against us, but not keeping a clean sheet A team capable of ...

Re: We Must Beat-a-borough - Away v Peterborough, Sat Apr 27th 12:30
Not sure Jerome knew too much about that. Still, a goal is a goal. That'll likely kill off the game with Bolton and Peterborough being happy with a draw now the automatics have gone.

Re: We Must Beat-a-borough - Away v Peterborough, Sat Apr 27th 12:30
So much for harbouring any hopes today. 3-2. Had the chance to make a decent dent in the confidence of this Peterborough side and we've jeykll'd and hyde'd it up once again. We're going into the playoffs needing to better these by the end of the season and yet we've let it go once again. Disgusting ...

There's two frames in the video: https://twitter.com/PoshGoals/status/17 ... 6990200284
One looks onside, the other possibly offside.
This one looks onside, can't blame the linesman for that.

Two offsides and a missed handball. Linesman's clearly edging on the side of Peterborough.

Was that offside?
Seems like it doesn't matter with these refs

Balls. Derby 2-0 up and Peterborough getting back in it.
Time for subs I think. Games gone.
Somewhat of a mental game now. Win and get the mental edge, sub players off and rest them.
How many mascots do Peterborough need?

Re: We Must Beat-a-borough - Away v Peterborough, Sat Apr 27th 12:30
Spare a thought for Lincoln who have to beat Portsmouth to get play offs.
FFS. 2-1.
Santos needs to play to the whistle. Ridiculous goal to concede.
That being said clear handball not given by the ref or linesman. EFL changing it up to make sure we play vs 12 men like most our games this season.

Re: We Must Beat-a-borough - Away v Peterborough, Sat Apr 27th 12:30
Feels like this match is a good assessment of our season. Looks good, gets as close as possible, but not quite over the line. We've tapered off. Us at full pomp would see us comfortably over the line here. WTF is this, different ref for the second half? Was he penalised for giving us a penalty?

Re: We Must Beat-a-borough - Away v Peterborough, Sat Apr 27th 12:30
Peterborough a very weird side. Were on great form but they don't look much - maybe making so many changes in midweek and then back again, maybe that they've lost impetus as Derby kept winning. Hard to put momentum back on, which is a reason a good win for us here would be doubly lovely Quite incre...
