Sorry to learn that, TW; I hope you have the best afternoon you can.

Post match, can someone please share with the group as to what, if any, are the covid restrictions? I for one am at a loss.

Cheers.
Zero covid restrictions apparent.
Cheers, Dave.

Re: CLUB BUSINESS/SUNDRIES ETC.

Interesting. Cheers. So we're headed off towards Dicky's Meadow again, would you say? No need to panic. FV have said that the imminent debts are covered and I see no reason to challenge that. FV have taken on quite a big commitment in the £28.5million they seem to have agreed to pay for the Group a...

Re: CLUB BUSINESS/SUNDRIES ETC.

Your limited knowledge is erm..... limited. End of. What comments have you to make regarding our ROIC for the same period? There wasn't any ROIC. Someone asked Kieran Maguire about the gearing ratio. There isn't a gearing ratio either because the owners equity was swallowed up in FV's first year. B...

The one I do own, btw, is the Matchwinner one which is sponsored by Reebok, which is now worth at least a Billion Pounds. :)

Does it still fit you? :P

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet

9 innings isn't it? "Bottom of the ninth" whatever that means. And add in their propensity for ad breaks and timeouts. My brother went at the Olympic stadium a couple of years ago and said it went on forever. That super bowl nonsense goes on for hours and hours too I think. Isn't there only about a...

I'm not a format snob Twattish comment. Do you not have a preferred format? I wasn’t calling anyone a format snob or suggesting that preferring one makes you a snob. More that my non plussed reaction to the hundred has had me called a format snob. I don’t think I am. I enjoy all forms of the game. ...

Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Thread.

Whilst you can’t disagree in principle with IE, you do have to sometimes allow for the exceptional. Ivan Klasnic was hardly a workhorse but I’d have him in my side any time for his goal scoring. Jimmy Greaves, Georgie Best and many others weren’t revered for their work rates but you couldn’t argue ...

Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Thread.

It was interesting to hear Evatt say recently that he thinks we have the ninth or tenth highest budget in the league this season. Did he? Interesting… Indeed. I mean, how might he know? Am I missing summat obvious? And might it not be a little more prudent to play the penury card? I know Evatt like...

80% of the time, F1 is pretty dull, but when it's good, oh my. What a race. What a driver.

Re: The Olympics

Genuinely Bruce, if you enjoyed it this morning you should seek out some more cycling away from the Tour de France. Spring classics are awesome and on brutal courses on different terrains. Also a good example of the complexity of tactics this morning. WVA was by far the strongest rider in the race ...

So right mate . I just watched archery and judo in addition to Team G.B. Women's football. Oh, and Max Whitlock qualifying for gymnastics, men's hockey and Adam Peaty destroying the opposition in swimming. All in between following the Whites on text. For me, Tango, I guess it started with...
