Re: Site For Sale

I don't recall Davo running out of the Allianz during his goal celebration. Did he include a stein of Pilsner and a huddle with some buxom bar wenches as part of his celebration? Bloody hell. Where've you been? Welcome back :D Lurking a bit, but mostly pretending that nobody played football...

I don't get to many games but the only time I saw Everton at the bok they won 1-2 in injury time as well (2007/8). Sickening. I remember their fans were twunts then too.

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager

In a bizarre twist of fate, I have already seen our new manager in the dugout at the Reebok this season. Albeit in my only match this year when Palace nicked that late penalty.

Perhaps Uncle Eddie sent me over from the Isle of Man on a scouting mission ;)

Re: Now he's gone, who's next?

I signed into my old bet365 account I don't think I've used since THAT game at Wembley (maybe it's my fault!). Still had £8 in there. Result. Stuck it on Appleton. No pressure Boris. Only got 10s, but it's money I didn't no I had anyway, so we'll see what happens. 8/1 on skybet. McCarthy shortest o...

Re: Bolton vs Crystal Palace

I was at the match on Saturday and have read the thread on my mobile. Now I am back at my keyboard there is not much to add to the conversation, but i will do so anyway. Defence Bogdan was ok. The team looked much more threatening when he threw the ball to Mears. No decent ball distribution from CB'...

I thought it was only me that got PMs from Dan. I feel cheated on  My only visit to Brum saw us win 3-1 with I think a rare David Reeves goal in there. The Police that day lived up to the finest traditions of the West Midlands force by really behving like pigs so to speak when we played them i...

Bolton vs Crystal Palace

Getting in very eraly with this one, but I have just booked my first (and possibly only) match of the season. Looking forward to getting over for one of my infrequent pilgrimages, but not necessarily looking forward to the football. There are 3 games to play before this one and I am having a wager w...

Re: Advice for Mullayo going to Bolton vs Forrest, Friday Au

As a fellow non-local I can recommend the advice you have been given. My one recommendation, given that this might be the only, or one of a very few games you might ever attend at the Reebok is to consider staying at DeVeres. You could probably get a room for about £65 I try to stay there any time I...

So I was 18, just finished a-levels, getting ready for Uni, under the first change in elected government in my recollection thanks to D:Ream and Tony's smile.... as previoulsy mentioned by DSB D:Ream's keyboard player wasn't a famous professorial physic...
