Re: Ipswich Town @ The Macron - Tues 8 March 20:00

The comment from Lennon about woolery starting was tosh, he was on the bench in the printed team sheets in the stadium and on the bbc macth thread! There was a rumour around the stadium that woolery was seen going back to his car 20 mins before kick off looks to me like he had a moan about not start...

Re: The breaking News thread...

So we sold a car park... Probably be the most profitable part of the whole organisation wouldn't it? A tarmac field with minimal overhead - save for casual staff expenses and a license to print money for as long as there's footie played 4 times a month. The more I think I know about this bollocks t...

Ahh well by all accounts we have not played very well, beat 2-1, by a very good team. Mr lennony will has just seen how poor we can be..

Re: Howling at the Moon! - Wolves (A) 20/9/14

Why the F**K is Garvan taking penalties??? Because scoring penalties is not the BWFC way, Dummy! Seriously, I think it says a lot that an on-loan midfielder, halfway through his second appearance, steps up to take our penalty. Why not Beckford, or Mason or indeed our captain? :conf: Because...

Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread

BWFCi is right, he is apparently a 'goalscorer', which is code for 'does feck all else', so he has to be clinical to make up for that and he is not. He misses too many chances. I'm all for a 20-25 goal striker who does nothing else, but he isn't it (apart from the nothing else bit). Decent manager ...

Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread

Cravies can take a penalty and is being used in the Juke role to feed Mason something beckford cannot do and he takes a good penalty as well

could not get anything out of the squad he inherited
cannot get much out of the players he has brought in
only seems to bring in players(if you can call some of them that) that say "yes boss"
cannot stop tinkering
what can he do

Re: Freedman out!

There is an assumption that changing the manager would make everything better. But it hasn't in the past and I think it would be a fair question for Eddie to ask "what have I got to show for all the 'ambition' (read money spent) I've shown previously?". Oh yes it has. Appointing Allardyce, Rioch, G...

did ok to my mind, not easy coming on under those circumstances and in a game that was tight at that point. looked a tad awe struck for a few mins then settled down ok , did not seem to do much wrong and got at least one important block in, goog luck to the lad and I hope he has done enough to keep ...

Sad story really, could'nt keep his face out of the pies or his head on his priviliged well paid job silly b@stard and he nearly dragged Nolan down with him. The end of his time at Bolton coincided with Nolans first dip in form. I think they were sharing a flat at the time.... What a waste and readi...

Yep the players vote ! no wonder the list is so poor.
It makes me wonder that perhaps its the england players that stop the likes of Davies, Cahill & Taylor getting past the long squad.........
