Re: Spuds at Home
a loss in this game and we put our survival in the hands of other teams Our survival is pretty much already in the hands of other teams. If QPR, Villa, Wigan and us all won our remaining games, then we'd all end up on 43 points (potentially with Norwich and Stoke who might in this particular freaky...

Re: Seville protest against Barca / Real coverage
Maybe in a show of solidarity, we could teach them our "cheat" chant, which really shows the world what we think of injustices everywhere.

Re: Sunderland Away
I'd say not being able to beat a team like Fulham or Swansea at home is more damaging than drawing away at Sunderland. Losing at home to Norwich, Wigan and Villa even more so..... Anyways we are not down yet. Agree, there are plenty of times when a draw at the SOL, would be good and we're happy wit...

I'd be happy to let them try at Bolton to be honest.bobo the clown wrote:I'd like to see him (& all the other 'big' managers) manage someone like Doncaster for a while before making a categoric judgement.

Re: Sunderland Away
Well if we've got all the midfield cover we need, can people stop bleating about how much better Owen would have managed our season, is only we had Stu and Chungy... :-) We probably got the best cover available to us - certainly not as good as Holden And Lee. You know this though. Well, I kn...

Re: Sunderland Away
I've never slagged him off for not producing miracle players for next to nothing. Holden and Chungy cost us less than £3m. What I said was if cover for Holden and Chungy was THAT important in his mind, he should have got that cover before investing elsewhere . We added 5 midfielders in the 2 window...

Re: Sunderland Away
I wrote us off after Swansea (and another 5 times this season, to be fair). Roll on Wednesday, when my fingernails get chomped on again..... And just for the haters - give Coyle a new deal, Eddie! :D I don't hate, and I agree with this.* *in one of your kettle making factories or something. Anywher...

Re: Sunderland Away
I particularly regret the absence of Holden & Chingy during the first half of the season. I particularly regret despite having two transfer windows, that instead of looking for cover, he's signed £7.5m of strikers that have 20 starts and 3 goals between them... Have a good read of what you've writt...

Re: Sunderland Away
It's just the fact that so many posts are going on about how shocked they are by Wigans form for example. They've been doing that for months now, turned the corner when they won at the Reebok. There is nowt shocking about it yet - they are only 3pts ahead of us having played one game more than us. ...

I think tomorrow, I'll post on this thread, it's all happy and we're two - one up, and will get three points.
I already don't like the Sunderland thread.

Re: Villa Away.
And very unlike us to keep the ball safe like Alonso did with those two corners and a throw-in. Brilliant. That last 10 minutes I was lamenting the fact that we no longer had Joof - to run around aimlessly with it near the corner - and Campo, to milk the odd foul whan we were being threatened. Alon...
