Re: What a load of bollocks.

^^ Galatians 5:19-21 19 - The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 - idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 - and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that ...

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet

Yep credit where its due - we finally made a score and SA buckled. Ollie Pope looks the business and IF we can sort out the top 3 - we may actually be onto something. Bowling department looks strong to me - options all round. Half a thousand does strange things to the mind. :-) Pope's last three in...

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet

Good win for the boys. Very comprehensive. Maharaj and Paterson showed there weren't too many demons in the pitch if there was a bit of attacking intent, which makes it all the more mysterious the way the Saffers approached it yesterday (occupy the crease for 2 days) - think they might have been bet...

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet

Just as I was about to post that de kock was in, out again... Been in and out and in and out, looks like the game's coming our way. Saffers have mystified me today. I mean, they've tried to just bat it out rather than see if they could make us bat again, but then they've suffered from our just get ...

I'd say, get De Kock out

I'm beginning to wonder about you!
 Take De Kock's middle stump doesn't really work any better either. Just take the 4ucker's wicket :D
Worked pretty well in company yesterday that one! :-)

Suddenly, it all seems to be galloping along at a pace...?
Aye Wood had a strike rate of 200 and Pope was up in the 130's, so they shifted it along nicely. Solid start in reply so far. Can't really judge a wicket until both teams have had a go...

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet

Couple of reverse pulls from Pope Vs Rabada. Wonderful.

Edit:

And a Declaration that wasn't. Great move by Root.

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet

Pretty happy so far. Two lovely hundreds. Whilst it looks like a good pitch to bat on (and will be for them), scores of 450/450+ still have to be accumulated. So it could end up a draw and I probably wouldn't want them to get 650, but we've put ourselves in the driving seat, which is all you can ask...

224 for 4 at Stumps. We've had worse first days.
Indeed. As ever, tomorrow it would be good not to end up 252 AO.

Re: General Chit Chat

Double barrelled surnames. It's going through a bit of a vogue when people get married to retain both parties' name as a new surname (all a bit fdcking stupid in my book). Anyone knows wtf happens when their offspring Chantel Widget Handler marries Kyle Jones Smith? Do their kids end up getting cal...

I'm a bit surprised most fans would have been confident avoiding the drop. At no point have I thought we'd avoid the drop. But yes please to more organisation and less capitulation...

Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 14/01/20

For us to win games we need to aim for 0 goals in the against column. We seem to be a million miles away from that. I wasn't expecting us staying up nor am I calling for Hill to go. I was expecting us to start looking a bit more organised by now. With something approaching a game plan as others have...

Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 14/01/20

2-1 with 5 mins to go; can Hill really be blamed for the collapse that followed? I'd have more sympathy if it was a "one off" in a tough season and I'm probably not going to be too judgemental, but like Dibs and BWFCi say, you'd sort of expect he would be drilling 5's, 6's and 7's out of them. This...
