Santos and Toal haven't trusted Nat on the left.
That's coz he's as much of a goal threat at our end, as theirs.

C'mon Demps...

Re: Rising in Wembley's Glow: A Bolton Wanderers Tale - Bolton vs Oxford. 18th May 2024, 4.15pm

A disgraceful first half performance. Santos has bee horrible, the worst pkayer on the pitch. stops the ball when he gets it, slows us down to a walk, ans has no idea what to do with it . Its killing us. Maghoma is completely out of the game also. Our forwards starved of any kind of service. I have...

Re: Rising in Wembley's Glow: A Bolton Wanderers Tale - Bolton vs Oxford. 18th May 2024, 4.15pm

No - think clearly. Go 4 at back. Cogley has offered nothing. Hook him. Jones to right back. Evatt has no tactical brain. He’s been completely done here by a better manager. Oxford set up perfectly. Want it. They haven’t had to be good. They knew if they stop the midfield we will beat ourselves. Th...

Inexcusable on every level. Clear out in the summer and start again. A disgrace.
You're forgetting our 121 goals mate. Be reet when we get to 125. That's entertainment.

Flat track bullies. I think Sheehan is on Temazapam or something. MF has been utterly woeful.

Re: Rising in Wembley's Glow: A Bolton Wanderers Tale - Bolton vs Oxford. 18th May 2024, 4.15pm

I doubt anything will beat the 1977/78 season for me. I was young, had never seen Bolton in the top division, we'd just missed out the year before so very happy days - we'd have got 89 points that season under 3 points a win. There were a couple of games, we had more than 50,000 on. I enjoyed that ...

Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub are available from Trumpton Town. They'll guarantee to put the fire out on any attack. :oyea:

ae:) ae:) ae:)
For they system we play, we'd be better with Pugh, Pugh and Barney McGrew...
It just wouldn't be a Bolton thread, without opinions. 🤣

Re: Tooling up: The summer 2024 transfer thread

I suspect round here wouldn't be a great place, were we to lose out to an Evans/Clarke-Harris led Rotherham, next year... If we go up it'll be interesting to see how people react to us losing a lot more games and whether there's the kind of patience there needs to be. If we stay down then...
