Re: Wombling 3. AFC Wimbledon (H) 7.12.19 KO 3pm

27th August 1983. Our first ever meeting with Wimbledon on the opening day. We won 2-0 but were on a downwards spiral. They won the FA cup 5 years later. 4-4-2 that day. How many of our line up do you remember? An internet pint to anyone who can get 9 or more! GK RB LB CB CB RM CM CM LM CF CF Can't...

Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 26/10/19

Well they can f*ck off and keep f*cking off until they've f*cked right the way round the world and back, at which point they can f*ck off again. I am now upset because ...

Re: New ownership - Football Ventures

Worth noting that at Lancaster Whites event tonight Emma Beaugeard said this and it was reported on the official twitter too...was a response to asking if we will offer longer than one year deals to players... 'We are under embargo for the next two years. That's not just regarding the buying and se...

Re: Wham, bam, thank you, Stan - Accrington S (A), 3pm, 23 November

Not that I'll be there, but I'm expecting a full-throated raucous roar of "F*CK THE EFL". Record and post, please, if you're among the lucky ones to be there. Speaking of which, nice Iles piece this morning about our atrocious away record - worst in the league over the past decade - being defied by...

Re: League One 2019/20

I saw Bristol Rovers scrape a very fortunate win in their cup replay at Bromley last night. If they are 5th in DSB's "spurious stats^ table above, then we should be top. They looked no more than a slightly-better-than-average National League side.

Have we any indication yet as to when we're likely to hear something?
Iles says Wednesday. I suspect the club have known since the weekend - perhaps given a chance to appeal before official announcement is made.
He's now saying it could be further delayed.
48 hours?

How the feck have Stevenage or Oldham got 3 or more players away on international duty?

Turns out Stevenage had three players on duty, playing for Afghanistan, Antigua & Guyana.
