What about one for our manager? With the words 'COME AND GET ME' and his mobile number. It'll save him the bother of endlessly touting himself for a job with a really 'big' club every time he appears on T.V.

What about shirts for specific games to wind up the opposition? Personally I'd like to see a T-shirt produced for the Chelsea game with a big muddy ball splatter and the words, 'I've been hit by one of Frank Lampard's shots' emblazoned on it.

Re: Peter Crouch - an apology

If I was Crouch, I would be really pxssed off! He worked his socks off during the WC and did everything that was asked of him, only to be dropped for a 70% fit thug! I'd rather have a 70% fit Rooney than Crouch any day. Crouch is exactly the sort of player that Graham Taylor would have picked. Lank...

Clive Tyldesley never shuts up with his constant smug asides throughout the course of the game. As for ITV's theme tune, have you ever heard a more insipid cover version of 'Heroes'?

I thought he already had retired, he's had the pipe and slippers on for most of the tournament. As for his ability to pass the ball, he couldn't find his arse with his hands. We looked like a different team when Lennon started running at their defence.

You can add 'Row-Z' Frank to M.I.A. list. Why the f**k they let him take a penalty is beyond me. The only suprise is that he didn't take out someone in the back row with the shot.

Yet another painful experience. We didn't play a single decent team in the competition and yet we still managed to make the opposition look good. We were crap from the first game to the last. Eriksson has blown our best chance of winning the World Cup for a generation. There is no such thing as glor...

He didn't do anything full stop (apart from scoring for Argentina!)

Borg looked sharp, was unlucky. He was the best player on the pitch last night... for Argentina! More of a danger to his own team than the opposition. If Mexico had more of a cutting edge up front, they would have won last night. Unfortunately all their excellent build-up play was wasted whenever t...

Could someone please tell 'Row-Z' Frank that the tournament has actually started. Would be nice if he could join the rest of our midfield sometime soon.

Not as bad as David Pleat who thought that the U.S. were playing a 4-3-2 formation despite being down to NINE men!

He was giving as good as he got in the previous game and the game against T&T, and also if he's a "cheat" what do you say about our very own Kevin Davies?? Is he a cheat too? I agree with your sentiments about maradonna as he was amazingly gifted but I dont that you can call climbing, cheating 'Cli...

The 'win at all costs' mentality still puzzles me, as it always has. Maybe I'm just built that way, I really don't know the answer to that, but one thing's for sure: I have competed mightily over the years and won a few battles in my time (and lost even more) but I have never, ever, cheated. Rules ...

I can't believe you lot call yourselves football supporters. What people seem to forget is that he practically won the World Cup single-handedly for Argentina in 1986. They didn't have a great team, nowhere near as good as the team that won it in 1978 but he carried them all the way to the final. Th...
