Re: Owen Coyle
http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,,16464_7485128,00.html Coyle explaining that he "made a change" and the game opened up. Fckg right it did. I am so fckg angry at this. I've believed in him, I've wanted it for him & I thought he'd changed it around ... but today has me right back to thinking ...

Re: Onwards and Upwards Everton vs Bolton (Match thread)
Went to the corresponding fixture last year when we threw away 2 points when Chungy should of put it in Row Z, and they scored a wonder goal. A draw was probably a fair result on that night as we were under the cosh at the end, and probably got our goal against the run of play. All that said We have...

Re: The Elmander Question
Goal threat, no overall play, yes He was striker, so should have been a goal threat, its like being a plumber and saying, hes no good at fixing a leak but he can put a shelf up. His stats for the whites were, played 92, scored 18, as a striker = shit ! Admittedly he played out of position half the ...

Re: Is there anyone now who wouldn't sack him?
I guess I have reached the point where I would not be gutted if he was sacked - but still at the point where my response would be governed by the quality of his replacement - I am not in the "anyone is better" club. I am also still at the stage where I hope that we win the next 2 games and confiden...

Re: Already too late to sack Coyle
The problem I see with Coyle is that he was the fans choice after Megson, therefore the majority of us feel some what responsible for his being here and with that he's been given far too long to try and turn it around. That said his tactical ineptitude is head and shoulders above any managers we've...

Re: Cold Mashed Spuds v Bolton (the official match thread).
This is what the pundits would call a home banker, Spurs have won the last 5, we havent won 5 in the about the last 10 months ! Therfore this could be a gome that upsets a lot of coupons this weekend ! I still think we'll get thumped about 4 nil though

Re: Bolton v Baggies - Match thread
Totally agree with this part of the thread about the "x place is a shit hole song" if you dont wanna be there feck off back home no ones keeping you there under duress. As opposed to fighting amongst ourselves, getting in the managers back and complaining about said place, we should try and get behi...

Re: Bolton v Baggies - Match thread
I've just read back a few pages and seen a few comments about Ngog not being able to cut the mustard so to speak. When he came on we employed the same dire tactics we had for Davies ie either a big lump up from Jussi or a midfiled ball dropped onto his head, Davies had no joy, so i dont see how Ngog...

Re: The Only way is Up? - The Gooners match thread
Personally,I thought (as i think a lot of fans did) that we'd be bottom after the first 7 games, but i expected 4 points. I was hoping for a point at QPR which i thought would of been tougher than it was and a win against Norwich. So i was pleased that we got 3 on the opening day, and thought we'd g...

Re: Tuncay signs officially
IMHO Half decent signing, see where he is in 10 Games, I dont recall that he pulled up any trees @ Boro or Stoke, or what his record is @ Wolfsburg. Lets hope Coyle can weave his magic has he's done with previous on loaners. I'd still like to see a striker with pace brought in before the deadline.

Re: CYL injury scare ??!!
Reo Coker, Pratley and Eagles were good signings. Its a blow, and would have been nicer to have a bigger squad, but we're better able to deal with this than even a couple of months ago. We do, however, still desperately need a striker. I'd say we need 2 strikers, both with pace, we dont really have...
