A propos of not a lot I see Rotherham beat Stockport 1-0 tonight. I suspect, this year at least, that's likely to demonstrate the difference.

Don't think it's for the whole tax debt though. Only those where the company collects on behalf of others e.g. PAYE, employee NI but not e.g. corp tax, employer NI.

The way our luck has been I'm more inclined to think no news is bad news. Cue story tomorrow than Gethin has lost all the bones in his leg or something.

That Tweedley must be 5'2, 3? Genuinely thought he was someone's 12 year old at the legends game. Mini.

Re: Sprats v Mackerels..V Fleetwood at home. 31-11-21. 7 O'clock

We play the strongest team we've got because a) we might as well try and shoot for Wembley and b) I don't think we've any real choice. Delf might play. Dapo definitely should. Xav might not given his recovery needs. But might as well go for this. We can and will get injuries anytime I don't think t...

Where the feck do they find the people in the studio?!

Hope Tweedley gets on. Comically tiny. I honestly thought he was someone's 12 year old kid at the charity game until I twigged he was playing for the first team.

Over £100k raised. Superb.

On a (related) tangent, it's an absolute travesty that there has been no rugby league knighthood ever, but it has to be a matter of time before it's Sir Kevin Sinfield. What a man.

Very much doubt he's anywhere near fit enough or in the right frame of mind. Better to promote some youngsters for the few games until Jan I think. I see evatt said that 3 stone ago he'd have considered registering himself. 😁 He did fill out that 10 shirt in a way that made sarcevic look like Twigg...

He's a winger though right? Arguably the only place we've got any depth! Dapo, Amaechi, Kachunga, Delf. Luxury!

Am I right in thinking the chap that takes their long throws went to wrexham earlier this season?
Yes. Perhaps there was some family reason.

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet

I don't think it's fair to say they've "effectively found him guilty" of anything. The reason they have given, which seems fair to me, is that the racism story, and particular Yorkshire, is going to be discussed at length during the coverage and given he has been named in it (and the story had blown...

Re: Exchanging Corn...V Doncaster at home, 23/11/21 8 'O clock.

Still looks more like a trip than violent conduct, which it'd have to be for red (there). You're missing the third, which having seen the video it must be, which is "serious foul play". It's the reason a two-footer (/high tackle etc) is a red, and different to violent conduct which is the handbags ...

Re: Exchanging Corn...V Doncaster at home, 23/11/21 8 'O clock.

Said before it was a test and fair feck* to Evatt we came through it. Sounds like they're baaad, but you are allowed to play the bad teams and given the injuries any win is a good one. We'll be minimum of 1ppg when the window opens which I'd have taken. The more we can get in the next 6 the better. ...

Still looks more like a trip than violent conduct, which it'd have to be for red (there). Anyway. Nice to have that to "discuss" rather than how many babies to throw out with the bathwater. Good end to the half. Nowt silly now. Maybe even retain some energy by stroking it about. And I like BWFCi's ...

Re: Exchanging Corn...V Doncaster at home, 23/11/21 8 'O clock.

I think it’s bwfci s 442 ish Dapo up top with Doyler, Kachunga RW? Possible. But has Evatt *ever* played a 4-4-2? All starting positions, isn't it. V little difference between 442 and 4231 (see Sralex "I invented 3 in midfield") especially as Ghost pointed out off the ball when we've done that we'v...

Re: Exchanging Corn...V Doncaster at home, 23/11/21 8 'O clock.

Nothing to do with the game, but why do our midweek home games always seem to kick off at 8 rather than 7.45? Is it something that we are obliged to do? Every other League One game bar ours is a 7.45 KO tonight. I feel I may have asked this question many years ago but I've forgotten. It goes back t...

Re: Exchanging Corn...V Doncaster at home, 23/11/21 8 'O clock.

Big test of Evatt this. I think they'll give him until March no matter what, but this is the run of games where a big haul looked possible given that positions of the teams we have to face (but also allows them to catch quicker if worried about that). Now we're really down to the bare bones. 7 games...
