I think he must. That was a Cricket pitch the last time my mates and I drank cider in front of its pavillion.
Yeah I do.

I think they use the field for kids football now, although we tend to spend a good 6 or 7 hours a week there!

There's a skill to the way you play your own cards definatley. Example - You have a very good hand! You may not be the best, but you're pretty sure you are. The skill comes from knowing how to get the most money from there on in. People can be tempted to go betting like mad when they hit a full hous...

watching lot of high stakes poker series 5 atm...have to say I'm loving Tom 'Durrr' Dwan's play. he's holding q-10, against Eastgate (4-2) and Greenstein (A-A). Flop comes 2-2-Q, Durrr manages to bluff both guys out of the pot  Kaplan likened it to something Stu Ungar would do. High praise i...

A few of us play at The Wilton Arms on monday nights (not this monday) and that's always good fun. Usually get a couple of £10 games in and then finish on a couple of games we made up: Hellfire, and Damnation! As the for the luck thing. Of course there's luck, it's a deck of cards. But if skill wasn...

I've only read 2 books on poker so far, both Dan Harrington's. I think he has a third somewhere?

They both helped loads, and should give you a slight insight to the kind of player i am!

If anyone fancys a cheeky $5/$10 heads online just give us a shout. I only use poker stars now though.

I've changed my mind on my favourite player. It's now Tom Dwan.

He makes some ridiculous plays, just been watchin 5th season of High Stakes Poker, on one hand he bluffed his way past pocket A's and trip deuces!

My favourite player is Negreanu too. He's made some goooood calls, and he just makes it more entertaining to watch.

I used to Devilfish, but i get sick of his moaning!

Poker.

I hadn't seen a poker thread on here before, and seeing as it's such a popular thing nowadays, why not start one? Who of you plays? If so, where? Which online sites? Just home games? The thing that made me start this up is that I've just had two awesome poker related days! Yesterday I organised a ho...

Can't say I'm too depressed about this. The only reason I was happy with the fact that it was front page news was that it raised a little awareness for cancer.

I'm glad the kids aren't with that tosser husband too!

for those two videos I just used Windows Movie Maker. Although they had some software on offer on amazon a while back called Director Pro or something similar. I bought it but haven't used it yet because it has no damn instructions!!! Also, get a cricket video done! I'd be intrigued to see it, or if...
