Re: Will we be beating the Blues, or singing the blues? BWFC v Birmingham 3/4/18 8pm
Beevers did get thrown up there for the last 5/10 minutes after the long lanky useless streak of p*ss had spent 10 minutes or so lumping aimless balls up to Alfie. The long lanky uesless streak of p*ss failed to win a single header despite being 6ft 6 or so (6ft 5 when he jumps). By the way, did I m...

Re: Bottom feeders: wounded Wanderers v sinking Sunderland 20/2/18 8pm
Chuffed with the result and those in the other games but we were awful - don't think we would be able to pass the ball from one end of the pitch to the other even if the other team stood still. Alnwick and Karacan best candidates for MOM. Referee absolutely clueless. Sunderland huffed and puffed but...

Re: Animal Wars... T'rotters v T'ykes ('t'home Sat 2/12/17)
Three points was vital and it feels good to be out of the bottom three but have to say we rode our luck (yet again) and against a side with better finishers we'd have blown a 2 goal lead (yet again). We didn't get anywhere near there box for the first twenty minutes of the second half - is this fol...

Re: Squad and Embargo
So Parky has just done a pre-Crewe press conference, judging from twitter the key points were: Vela out long term. Ankle ligaments. Precise length of absence not yet known. Wheater seeing a specialist this week for his back. Out presumably a few weeks at least. No room to add to squad as it is "ful...

Re: Pre-season fixtures 2017
Not sure beating a 10 man Chorley side gives much reason for optimism (yes I know its pre season and results don't matter!!)

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
So did Dean Holdsworth actually put any money in the kitty or just take out the Blu Marble loan to cover his share of the £7.5million? And therein lies the crux of the matter. The loan was to Deano's company Sports Shield BWFC, but underwritten in some form by BWFC assets. Out of the £5m "borrowed"...

Thanks Worthy - I'm still not clear how much was paid for his 47% - was it 1p?

I'm sure everybody else knows the answer to this so apologies for asking it but... how did Dean Holdsworth have the authority to use the assets of the club as security for the loan?

Re: "It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves" Bolton vs Posh 30th April
Not claiming to be mystic meg but my prediction for last Saturday was 2-0 with goals in the 77th and 89th minutes - not 100% accurate but within reasonable limits. I therefore predict a 1-1 on Sunday with us scoring in the 27th minute, them equalising in the 76th and squeaky bum time ensuing. Fleetw...

Re: The other Dons.....Oxford away Tues 21-03-17...7.45
Just seen that my second team Carlisle have suffered a horrible downturn in their fortunes over the last 6 or 7 games - could this be the result of having our Mr Proctor in their ranks? Proctor or ALF (or even Madine).. I know which I'd choose

On page 1 of this thread three people were complaining about moaning gets in the North stand. We're in upper row JJ and there's a guy behind us who on Saturday came out with Number 22 is a waste of space What are you doing Pratley Who's this goalkeeper - he'll have to go at the end of the season (re...

Re: The countdown- Where will we finish?
Looking at Fleetwood's remaining fixtures the highest place opposition they face is Millwall so it looks like it will be squeaky bum time for a while yet

Re: Over Hill, Over Dale - Tuesday 14th February (H)
Dire match but the sort you have to win if you want to get promoted. Back three worked well until Taylor went off - Moxey was his usual awful self and was waving his arms around bollocking his team mates when his sh*t passes put them in trouble. If he's our only choice in that position we're in deep...
