Re: I wish I'd never left Bolton...v Blackpool H. 8-0 clock 7-10-19.

Dude, we need a playmaker. We can say what we want about the wingers but - I'm not sure if Crawford is fulfilling this role - we need someone who can open doors through the middle. Not sure who's available, though ... Every team in the world wants a play-maker and a striker who scores to solve thei...

Lots of positives yesterday. Really impressed by our Defense. Very Organized and all 4 defenders had excellent games plus Lowe. Chicksen is a little gem at left back. Matthews had little to do. So Keith has stopped the leaking. Now we need to score goals. Dodoo looks the sort to cause problems. Very...

He comes across like an absolute fruitcake in that post match interview.
Just watched it and I thought the opposite. Seemed to know what he wants to do and is very focused on getting the players fit and buying into his philosophy. Prepared to get some knocks along the way.

Re: Will Hill thrill us at the Millers? Rotherham (A) Sat 14 Sep, 3pm

We have a huge gap in points to catch the team above the relegation point (14pts). Not seeing how making us hard to beat and playing dour football the PP way will make up that gap unless we believe that 0-0 and squeezing out the rare win is more acceptable for the rest of the season rather than taki...

Rome wasn't built in a day. Not yet believing that we are already relegated. A few more matches for the players to bed in then lets see what we are made of.

Re: What is our best starting eleven?

Indeed, whoever you pick the lack of (senior) options is demonstrated by the bench. I don't know what Hill will do (and none of us know how fit these new lads are) but I hope he minimises the usage of square pegs. I can understand why people are suggesting playing Lowe or Emmanuel out of position a...

Re: The next manager

Time will tell but seems like a good choice. His teams play good football and he knows the league, so even though we are knocking on the door very late, should have contacts to get us decent players still available. FV really impressing so far.

Re: Parkinson Leaves

All the best Phil. I hope you have something lined up. You were the sacrificial lamb under Ken and I was disappointed that you allowed yourself to be in that position by that horrible man. Never liked your style of football but respected your recent "balls" given your pronouncements about the "going...

DSB I'm not taking it out on MJ, I just can't understand why he (as a genuine loyal BWFC fan) knowing what the situation is in regards to playing the kids, tomorrow postponement etc. wouldn't have come out & been totally honest and said that he's tried his best but for whatever reason he just hasn'...

Re: Administration and recovery

The statement from Quantuma suggests to me that FV is being given every opportunity to come up with a better offer and show the money, as the people of Bolton, and the economy of the town needs a football club. However, there is a better offer on the table from Kamani, who by the way, from all indic...

https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/17844164.bolton-wanderers-boss-phil-parkinson-hung-dry/ Strong words from Phil Parkinson. It's hard to disagree. Our games, as opposed to Burys, are only going ahead because a deal was imminent. We should be looking to get the Doncaster game suspended as the av...

Oz never impressed but I struggle to see how even a JJ Ochocha would fit in a Parkinson side. Could never understand why he signed him.

Something that struck me last night watching the industry and no little ability of Darcy and Politic, was how on earth were they not given a chance last season when Buckley & Noone were failing to deliver?
Still potty training last year... :D

After all of this excitement today, whats the next scene in the blockbuster Netfix BWFC movie? An announcement that FV did not get the hotel? What does that mean for their bid for the club? Stay tuned to the next episode of Who will save BWFC?

Re: The next manager

The kids will be even better served if Parkinson was kept well away from them... His dire, one formula, seriously pessimistic attitude is the very last thing they need introducing to. This I agree with 100%. Phil has gone through a lot but keep him away from the kids. He will lock them in a system ...

Re: Administration and recovery

I'll also add that Football Ventures appear to date to being no better than KA - utter disorganised shambles of a business. I don't know who's the face of FV i.e. who's making the decisions CEO etc. - but whoever it is they come across as being an absolute amateur, not having a fcuking clue in rega...
