Re: Norwich v Horwich
We were right in the game after an hour. Should have left well alone & taken a point. Keep the scoreboard ticking over, building the unbeaten run. Confidence is a brittle thing when you're in our position - let's hope it's not gone again. Only positive is it showed Garry Birtles up to be a complete ...

As of 12.17pm, our squad is significantly worse than it was when the window opened...FACT. Doesn't bode well, does it? Just smacks of the club being able to say, 'Well we tried for the next Messi, the Championship Wonderkid et al, we were within a whisker etc'. Reminds me of a time in the dim & dist...

Re: Ten to Twelve Players
LK is absolutely spot on. What constitutes the largest part of our outgoings and, ergo, is creating the spiralling debt? Players' wages - end of. We can reduce that element of our outgoings by at least 60% by letting the 12 or so over 30s go - most of whom are coining it in as part of the 11 year Pr...

Re: Ten to Twelve Players
Those two lists have proved a real eye-opener for me... and if you look at it from a certain point of view, it looks like the chairman & owner are playing a very cynical game. Hear me out... Eddie can't/doesn't want to service the £110 million debt ongoing. So he says to Phil, 'this isn't sustainabl...

Get Sven & Fazza in! The charismatic Smorgasborg-chomper can stay at the De Vere Whites & quaff Banrock Station. I fancy he'd come if he new just how upwardly mobile the town is... a new Decathlon store, Tesco's had an extension & we've even got a new Greenhalgh's opening at the top of Chorley Old R...

Re: owen out
We're a shambles at the minute. As per the moustachio'd bandit Lawro's comments last night, it's not like we're just getting beat at home, we're getting hammered. The biggest problem with OC is he's a dreamer, a naive romantic. If he thinks we can play 4-4-2 with two genuine wingers in this league, ...

Can't see anything on the horizon but the Championship. There's no balance to the side & we've got a naive romantic in charge. Last 20 league games do not lie.

Given the personnel at our disposal, play Cahill in front of the two centre halves to stop teams getting at us so quickly once we lose possession. Up front is justa case of horses for courses, freshness, form etc. Jaaskelainen Boyata Knight Wheater Gardner Cahill NRC Muamba Pratley Davies/Ngog/Klas...

Tuncay may not be Sturridge but he's a quantum bloody leap forward from Cameron Jerome.
Still need a pacy striker to buzz around Davies though.

Re: Wanderers v Hillbilly Banjo players
Good (verging on great) manager for BWFC. Not an overly intelligent man as evidenced by the utter lack of self-awareness that grew ever more evident during his increasingly successful tenure at Bolton. The 3rd person references have now given way to laughable claims about managing Real Madrid etc et...

Having sat through ninety-odd minutes of interminable dross on 'Super Sky Monday Night Thingummy Bob' last night, I for one am relieved to say that we don't have to watch 'Brother Sam's Pragmatic 40-point Self-Salvation Show' anymore. The man has become a parody of himself & is strangling the life ...

ITV documentary on Accrington Stanley
On a happier note, has anybody been watching the ITV doc'y narrated by Stuart 'a fond farewell' Hall following Accrington Stanley's fortunes? Is it me or does it make you long for the days long gone? Cue misty eyed ramblings...Weekly cries of 'Bloody 'ell Darby', viewing Big Trevor Morgan as a quali...
