Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
Is williams a no go ? I know they rejected our first move for him but if we sell cahill maybe we can afford a higher bid.
Id take him over any of the replacements mentioned so far. At this rate we will be playing Bogdan at centre back.

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
Boyata may have been a stop gap for the time being i guess. But he isnt to the level Cahill has been for us. Were talking a CB who has played god knows how many EPL games for Villa and Bolton. Coyle would have cards in his sleave incase Cahill is sold, but when your left with one working week to org...

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
I'm not denying that Wenger has not had a very good summer - though, to a degree, i don't think he had much choice in the sales he's made, nasri and fabs clearly both wanted away. I know everyone that isn't a gooner hates wenger and I don't particularly care that they do. Seems half the arsenal fan...

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
Should have emailed them back with an offer of an away parking space for wenger in return for Wilshire.
Sounds fair. Comes in handy once a year. Two if cup ties favour him.

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
To the arsenal fans on here, while it might sound crazy to you that a Bolton fan would run out cahill's contract, it realy isnt. We paid 5 mil for him, selling him for 6 or even a few mil more is just pointless and id rather one last Cahill season and send him off on a free to Man Utd or City or Che...

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
Hypothetical here, if January came and the only deal we had was a Tottenham player swap for cahill, realisticaly who would you take ? Im takeing it as a given that it wouldnt be Bentley.

I doubt they would hold SWP back just because of a game with us. I read in an article that Aguero cost more than Boltons stadium cost to build. Hardly think they are worried about SWP starting for us.
If things keep going as they are tho, we will probably be stuck with his little bro Brad.

Re: Tuncay, and his position in the team
The article may have some truth, i know Emerton is the fastest in the oz team even beating Cahill ... No idea who Boltons fastest is tho, Chung Y Lee when fit ? Maybe Pratley now ? Is Tuncay fast or more a hold up the ball and pass player ?

I wonder if Barton can play up front ?
God, Barton and Davies up front, i can see the foul count now.

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
A striker and a right midfielder are probably the priority. Just had a look at a few bosman lists, no idea if they are any good and some may have already found clubs. Stephen Appiah (Mid) David Suazo (Fwd) Philippe Mexes (Def) Franck Dja Djedje Fwd (Cos i just like his name) Remy Riou (Gk) Harry Kew...

Re: Mullayo's much more successful TRANSFER thread
Recon Cahill will go in the final 24 hrs of the transfer window ? Then we have cash but short a player until January.
Hopefully Boro relent on the Rhys Williams offer he looks good from what ive seen him do for Australia, different kettle of fish tho at international level to club level i guess.

Good luck to the lad. He's been a pretty loyal servant over the years. But loyalty goes out of the window when £££££££ are involved. Sorry state of the modern game I suppose. Frighteningly inconsistent. But i'll remember the goals at Old Trafford fondly. Who will replace him? Who knows? Megson will...
