Re: Jaffka's gossip thread on the ins and outs at the 'Bok
Under Hodgson and Trapattoni his primary job has been to mind the shop rather than charge forward. We could use some of that. Insert Coyle deprogramming joke. Which is certainly something we need, the fact we lacked a player in the middle of the park who supported the defence and shored up the cent...

Re: Is Bogdan really any better than Jussi??
For me Jussi is still the better keeper. Bogdan does make some game saving stops up close but as does Jussi, where as long distance efforts seem to fly past Bogdan. Grant Jussi does get beat from way out on occasion but I have more confidence in him saving distance shots than bogdan. Taking the fac...

Re: Unpaid Internships
I had a couple of flatmates in first year doing the BBA, can't say I know what it is exactly. Nah, never had this Dermot guy. Is he any good? I don't have much time for these academics, I just wan't my piece of paper and to get out of there. I love Lancaster though, was told it was a shit night out...

Re: Unpaid Internships
As my third year at uni, we're required to do a year's placement. That's what I did and thankfully they invited me back to apply for the grad scheme of the same company, of course by then you know exactly what to do in the assessment centre. I had to live in a right shithole in East London on £15k ...

Re: Unpaid Internships
I've done quite a few unpaid internships, which had to be supported by paid work too, but they all helped me to get the job I have now (a one year paid placement) so I would definitely recommend any sort of experience. So you've done a shit load of work for nothing in order to get a 12 month tempin...

Re: Unpaid Internships
Competition for jobs is so fierce now that the more experience in a commercial environment one has, the more of an advantage they have when competing for a job. Indeed. Far more so than a degree in creative basket weaving. Think on, parents ;) What with the tuition fee hike as well, I don't see how...
