Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?

Have a fantastic evening, William. I know you to be a discerning fellow when it comes to such matters - I look forward to your take on the place. ;) This food is seriously good. The pappadums and chutneys a good appetiser - not at all greasy pappadum, accompaniments sweet and spicy. Our starters in...

Smithills has the same menu now as it did when we were kids, ST. The Pack Horse up at Affetside is a nice drive out and does very good nosebag - see also The Shoulder of Mutton at Holcombe Brook (Cheese and onion pie there is to die for). The Chetham Arms in Chapletown has been taken over by the gu...

Re: Italian Restaurant in Bolton

Luciano's at the Millstone provided me with some of the greatest lamb chops I have ever eaten. The tiramisu wasn't bad either  Is it good in there then? I live minutes away, but we never seem to eat anywhere particularly close to home. Not been to the Millstone in about 5 years. Not even been...

Got the i phone 4 today and after a few teething problems (nothing major, my house appears to be built out of lead and the 3g has difficulty getting through!) I really like it. The major downside seems to be the battery life. I have heard it is not great but wow, prob about 6/7 hrs with a bit af mes...

Had a look in the Trafford on saturday but nothing really lept out at me. I am seriously considering the walsh trainers. Support your local providers and all. Do they have an outlet or are they only online?

Regarding running shoes, I am a PE teacher and I have never gone wrong with Asics, quality

The missus is taken me out tomorrow to get me a present for my birthday. I fancy a shiney new pair of 'going out' trainers but I don't know what to get. What trainers tickle the wanderers fancy?

But I do see the point that if the fans are unhappy about the situation, they have a right to prote...
