With LYC away for a month or so I think we'll soon find out, maybe not at Chelsea though!

Re: money bags v the trotters

Confident we'll get a goal, just a case of if / how many we concede.

Re: money bags v the trotters

From the sound of the BWFC twitter gang: Kasnic, Davo, Steinson & Holden himself sounds like Holdens fit. Surely he wouldnt be playing 5 aside if he wasnt?

Re: money bags v the trotters

Coyles got some tough decisions to make will be interesting to see how we set up. Might be wise to go with 4-5-1, keep it tight and get the crowd on theie backs. Bring Holden in for Elmo ans start Petrov in for Taylor. Can't see it though, Coyle's not one to worry about other teams formations, we ju...

If only he could be convinced before every game that we're playing away he'll be pushing 20 goals this season. Strange thing is he tends to play better at the Reebok and be more involved but can't score for toffee. Away he can be annonymous / average but notch; eg. west brom, wigan & arsenal. Weird.

They're their for the taking, defensively they're amongst the worst in the league and with no confidence I can see us putting a few past em. 4-1 and 'sacked in the morning' ringing round the Reebok for the last half hour . That'll bring back a few unpleasant memories. True! A Reebok favourite from ...

I remember seeing jardel (you couldnt miss him) for the 1st time warming up at pompey and during the half time break someone was crossing balls in for him to head into an empty net, or that was the idea anyway! He was awful.

Yesterday we lost to Arsenal. We've had a decent start to the season. Next we play Villa and might well lose that as well. I really don't think there's much to discuss unless you are utterly deluded.

Shock horror Bolton lose to Arsenal, jesus f*cking christ get a bit of perspective. If you want doom and gloom try a hammers forum. Kevin Davies might not be the worlds best player but if he's fit he'll play so give up moaning about it.

I cant see us changing from 4-4-2, with the same starting line up unless anyones picked up knocks on international duty. 4-5-1 would put the emphasis on keeping it tight and nicking a goal from a set piece, sounds logical but I think OC will see it as changing a system that he prefers and has gone 3...

Think he's quite fond of the phrase! when he was subbed after jussi's sending off he was going nuts at someone on the Brum bench, was caught quite nicely on camera.

For me, if he doesnt start Tuesday it will only highlight how clueless capello is. Upson has had his chances, was awful at the WC and looks average at best at West Ham but is still living off his early career hype. If Capello was serious about making changes after the World Cup surely Barry, Terry, ...

Bit harsh mentioning Ricketts in the same category as Riga and Shittu. A backup defender he may be, but he can play any position across the back 4 and on recent showings I'd have him in for Steinsson.
