Anyway Worthy, you're going to be well chuffed, as we're apparently signing someone called Richard Taylor.
6ft 2. I’m practically moist now.

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread

McAtee is as hard a runner as anyone. I hope he'd be given an opportunity to play off a target man, but I don't see it. I also don't see Thomason and Schon anywhere near his first XI I heard a whisper than McAtee was spending the summer trying to find a move. Dunno how true that is. I think he has ...

Re: Financiers, investors and white knights: What next for FV?

Sheffield Wednesday didn’t pay their players or staff last Friday, it’s not the first time either under their owner. Players out of contract aren’t signing new deals and other clubs are sniffing around their players and manager. All the best to Wednesday and their fans I’m still grateful to FV for ...

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread

Where does that Collins money go? We still need strikers and wingers. Would Ennis fit the bill and work up top with Dalby? Or do we invest in a couple of wingers who are fast and can cross? £700K won’t go far. Might cover the wages of one or two decent frees or loans. But I guess that it frees up a...

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread

We are absolutely terrible at extracting decent fees. A soft touch. Have been for years.

It's no wonder we continue to lose such considerable amounts without improving the team. Let a player go for X, replace him with a worse play for X+ addons and agents fees

Re: Pointing the way. Stevenage at home Sat, 3rd May 3-0'clock

This one comes up quite often. Is he expecting a big roar every time he receives the ball? I certainly don't hate him, that'd be like hard work. I mean if they get the bird at half time (not a fan of that), but that's usually as a team. What is the expectation? I presume he reads stuff on social me...

Re: Pointing the way. Stevenage at home Sat, 3rd May 3-0'clock

Awards should take place because the club is full of awesome staff and successful women’s and youth teams but the first team shouldn’t be involved in any way. I'd make 'em watch, tbf. Happy with that - watch, no awards for them . Aye' well we're back to that "supporters" meaning again. The players ...

We'll get beat handsomely. Maybe 5/6/7 to nil.

Schumachers pre-match presser seems to indicate that Santos is feigning injury in order to finish the season early and feck off. He's welcome to.

Re: Yorkshire Relish. Away to Barnsley Sat Apr 12th 3-0'clock.

I also think it’s unfair to expect Santos to be out for 4 months or whatever it’s been and come straight back into the starting line up firing, fit and ready. Unless we hold other players to the same expectation, which we probably wouldn’t. Not sure Santos was particularly at fault - as you say big...

I’d like to think our players will react positively and look to right Saturdays wrongs, but I think it’s more likely we’ll see a sullen, sulky bunch who haven’t reacted well to criticism

Re: Yorkshire Relish. Away to Barnsley Sat Apr 12th 3-0'clock.

A real disaster really. Defended like absolute idiots and were truly horrible even though we created 4-5 incredibly good opportunities. The goals we conceded were amateurish as best. Not tackling, backing off, getting twisted inside out and turning backs, the last one.. Jeez the guys running away fr...

Forino seemed to struggle after a tackle too. Took a while to get going again and didn't look quite right after it.

I truly hope he's not injured too...

Re: Trouble at't Mill(ers". At home to Rotherham, Tuesday 8th Apr. 19-45.

Nobody would have predicted DeFreitas would be the hero that day or that a badly injury hit side without any discernible midfield would come back by stringing 4 out and our strikers across the top of the pitch. So I dunno - Randall to score the winner at Wembley? Santos to volley one in from 30 yar...

Re: No fools in April. Away to the Pies, Tuesday April Ist 7-45.

And nobody is realistically expecting Randall to win headers and hit a big defender in a 50/50. But to visibly pull away from those situations must be infuriating to the players who ARE winning duels and putting their bodies on the line. With his type of player, there needs to be a trade-off. Accept...

Re: No fools in April. Away to the Pies, Tuesday April Ist 7-45.

I suspect we'll be keeping Randall considering we'll still be paying for him in 2027. I agree with Dave in that whilst it's not been the most auspicious of starts for him, I'm not particularly worried. I'm not too worried either, but the ball is in his court as a professional, not us as fans. I'm n...
