Unted fan at work

Him "Bloody hell, what's going on with your lot?!"
Me: "Fvck knows mate, not really been paying attention, but it seems like we're completetly screwed"
Him - Genuinely, not even ironically "Could be worse, you could be a United fan. It's terrible at the moment"

Re: How Many Points Will We Be Deducted?

Retaining Parkinson will be the equivalent of an additional minus twelve points. Needs an owner to make that decision first. Though looking at where we'll be - and given his record in league one - will we get any better manager in reality? I seriously doubt it. There is a need for a change and a fr...

Re: So when will the bubble burst?

Burnley fan in peace. To the OP; when Coyle went to you with all our club’s infrastructure and left us high and dry, we were ridiculed by some of your fans as being a tin-pot club and it was all we deserved. At the same time we pointed to the fact that your Sugar Daddy was underwriting your £170+m ...

Why would Olkowski hand in a transfer request - he might as well serve notice on his contract given he’s not been paid?
Aye, that was it - His notice

Re: A no win affair. Versus Brentford. Home Sat 27th April. 3-0'clock k

Good news for those demanding squad rejuvenation: looks like Beevers and Williams are out for the last two. With Wheater whacked and Hobbs hobbled, Harry Brockbank might get shifted to the middle. With Olkowski notably absent of late, could Little get a game? With Williams our, could it mean game t...

Re: Release or rehire?

I would like to retain Williams and Connolly - I think Buckley is wildly inconsistent, but gets into good positions and would do well for us next season

They were the only 3 I ticked

Re: It's on god dammit! It's sooofolking on! BWFC v Ipswich 6/4/2019 3pm

We could play all of out strikers on the pitch at the same time and they still wouldn't average more than 0.8 goals per game or whatever it's been. It's not about the formation. It's about them not being very good at kicking the ball in the direction of the goal. Imaging if we played 2, or 3 up top....

Re: He said it's Wednesday on Tuesday, who could argue! - Shef Wed (H) 12/03/19

The only difference between the teams was quality in the area. they scored 2 good goals (the first one, out of nowhere). We looked as good as them in every other department, but when you've got lads on 30k per week finishing, you've a hell of a better chance at winning games. Money buys you goals, g...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

I'm saying that Ken is no doubt playing a game of brinksmanship. But we know a deal was agreed (announced by Ken and retweeted by Basran) and then suddenly during due diligence Basran "pulled back".... Due diligence was always likely to cause a re-negotiation. But we were at a point on Friday, afte...

Interesting Boris, thanks, and sorry to hear your littl'un's day might be spoiled. If food is involved, it might be affected by Heathcotes' announcement this morning (or rather their meeting this afternoon, or rather - if we get right down to it - the fact that our glorious club hasn't paid them). ...
