Re: To Bee or not to Bee. Brentford (H) 25/10/14
Even if he hadn't grabbed us the late goal I'm always very, very impressed with Craig Davies. Sure he isn't the most prolific striker, or the most skillful, but he always knows his job and gets amongst it. I guess it's easy to look busy when you come on towards the end of a match but we have a few i...

Re: There's Elland darkness, there's the sulfurous pit - LEE
Really can't believe a few of the comments on this thread... I thought we put in a decent albeit sporadic performance and if this result had been in isolation then I would have been quite proud. In the cold light of day it wasn't though and especially given the level of opposition (Leeds looked terr...

Re: Lukas Jutkiewicz
Would sacrficice all our top names (chungy/eagles etc.) if it gave us a chance at Lukas. I rate Eagles a lot but I've never seen one player completely dictate a game and make everyone on his team better than how this guy does. Mason has done good since he rejoined but feel anyone playing along this ...

Re: Lukas Jutkiewicz
Never heard of him before we signed him and he's been very good in his stay so far. Hard worker and good build up play. Nice little contributor on the goal front too.
But like I said i'd never heard of him..and he isn't too hot on football manager..so he's rubbish.

Re: Ipswich Match Thread
Can't get rid, we cannot afford it, can't support him because he is proving to be a poor decision maker / tactically inept. Won't play kids because they are not ready? Basically we are stuck with this shower until the end of the season and then who knows where we will be!!!!!!!!!! I am really reall...

Have we made any enquiries into Feeney this window?

And on that note tomorrow will be two years to the day of the signing of the original saviour Marvin Sordell!

Re: Looks like Blackpool have been 'analysing' our players..
Hopefully so! Ngogs had a lot of our chances at the club and has shown glimpses now and again and nothing more. Trying to get some sort of fee for the lad and giving Eaves a shot up front would be good all round.gavlat2872 wrote:I see Ngog is putting himself in the shop window

Re: Danns
Interesting now to see if Soljskaer rates McNaughton or not. By the way does anyone know if Feeney still makes the Millwall side? In fairness Dougie has done really good business in the loan market (Mason aside) and in the majority of his business so far. Just a shame the squad needed such an overha...

Re: New Manager Syndrome (Tykes Boxing Day)
Great atmosphere in the away end today and a good three points. We looked spirited and well organised but also lacked creativity in the final thirds at times (not completely sold on Mason as an attacking threat) and although the back four were solid at times we rode our look. Two main points though;...

Don't want to be "that guy" but if anyone has a ticket spare I'm happy to take it off your hands. Got two myself so not desperate but just for a friend like.

Re: Snoop Dogg's Bluenoses Vs. Amir Khan's Wanderers
It's all about competition for places. Everyone out there today was playing for their spot in the side and I feel it showed in their performance today and from what I hear at Blackpool. We're not a bad side, at least not as bad as our league position reflected, but a few players needed a bit of a sh...

Re: Freedman out!
SF you are a million miles out. We did very well today against a form home team . Knocking wins is just bizarre. They've only won two of their six home league games this season. When it's the last 2 scoring 8 goals and with a cup win over premier cup holders inbetween those 2 games, then 'form team...

Re: Freedman out!
Isn't there another two week break in the calendar soon? I feel Freedman has to get maximum points before them or he'll be moved on. Would be sad to see him moved on but the job might be a bit big for him at this moment of his career. Maybe a Warnock /O'Neill type, albeit not the most un-inspiring,...

Re: He's top notch
Think most people on here agreed the time was right for him to leave, he'd fallen out of favour with the manager and best to remember him as a legend. I'd put myself in this camp too Few were happy so to speak to see him leave but those that were are hardly witnessing his replacements banging them i...

Re: By Hove!
With the previous managers it always seemed you could see the problems a mile away. Towards the end of Coyle's reign especially you could almost predict the scoreline once the starting eleven had come through. I liked today's starting eleven. I liked the balance of the team and the alleged performan...
