Re: Bijou Bob's Bargain Basement Buys - Jan transfer thread

Chungy most likely out of the Asian Cup with a hairline fracture to his shin bone after a nasty tackle during the Oman game. Might not be able to leave this winter.

Re: Rumour has it.............

so it seems Tony Fernandes gave an Air Asia press conference in Korea and said QPR would be signing up to two Korean players in the transfer window. I think he's just trying to make a splash with the Korean press but still... it would be terrible to see Chungy go.

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread

Just seen this on Sky Sports website. Sky Sports understands that Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers are leading the chase for Lens midfielder Samba Sow. The Mali international was wanted by Nottingham Forest last summer, but they failed to put a deal in place following a trial spell at the City...

Re: Why Do people Leave early ??

World Cup, round of 16, Korea vs Italy (yes, THAT game). With 5 minutes left in regulation and down 1-0, my then girlfriend wanted to leave. I said, "Are you mad?" and we went on to score the equalizer 3 minutes later and then the golden goal.

I married someone else.

The only way I have left to follow the games are the matchday threads. Sometimes I think it's better than watching the game.

Re: Bolton v Forest thread

Had to go to bed before the first half ended (it was 4am) so I missed our goals. From the 30 odd minutes I saw, it seemed like we were making a very conscious effort not to hoof it early on. At one point Bogdan tried rolling it out even when there were too many Forest players about. It's a start but...
