Re: Sheff Utd (A) 25/2/17 3pm

Just got back from vacation with all kinds of hot weather-related ailments to learn that the away game that is nearest to my house is sold out!? I pretty much have to go to this so looks like I'll be sat on my hands in the home end.

I find that it's the person with the controls in their hands that tend to look a tad freaky. :D

Re: Hanging on, January Transfer Window thread 2017

I'm personally trusting that Parky will have everything he needs for the rest of the season. Wasn't counting Ameobi leaving as part of the window. Presumably KA and son are doing good deals and restructuring is progressing. Hopefully there would be addons with Clough. Relatively happy, but i was hap...

Seems like a productive window. Shame about Clough but Forest isn't Bristol City.

Re: Hanging on, January Transfer Window thread 2017

At 21 there was a lot of stuff I didn't like... and there's still a lot of stuff I don't like.

I probably shouldn't apply for any jobs in future because of my long history of not liking some stuff.

Re: General Chit Chat

I'm new to this whole driving thing so after someone crashed into my car I'm enjoying seeing what the insurance process is like. Looks like it's going to take them a while to fix it but that's ok because I get to try out a courtesy car. It's nice but the lag when you put your foot down at standstill...

Re: Boxing Clever...Shrewsbury Home 26th Dec.

In the B.N poll as to who will top the league on New Year's day, they are voting.. 57% Sheffield.. 32% Bolton 13% Scunthorpe. Looks like folk are expecting we may draw with Scunthorpe and Sheffield beat Northhampton as a likely solution. Regardless of our result, all SUFC need to do, is win and the...

Re: General Chit Chat

Is people's driving always this bad over the holidays? Just before xmas got scraped while parked by someone who plowed through a few cars then ended up in the river. At the moment it seems like people are all either lost or drunk or both. There was even a pileup on my way to Sainsbury's which meant...

Re: The Scally Kents - Gillingham (H) - Mon 12 Dec 20:00

Listening to the post match analysis was surreal. I can't remember being talked about like that by neutrals (I didn't have Sky before BSA and you can't hear what they're saying in a pub). Also, either Madine or Ameobi said something about players not wanting to go anywhere in January which can't do ...

Re: The Politics Thread

The politicians have an awful lot to answer for, but lets look at the type of people you and your angry types are turning to: Donald Trump - reality tv star narcissist whose strength is his dubious business background. A racist misogynist etc etc. Nigel Farage - the public school boy ex-banker mill...
