Re: Wanderers Vs Man U
Funnily enough, I didn't think you were that bad. You had your moments and created some decent chances. De Gea played well, he made some shots look more comfortable than they were. You played far too openly though. Petrov had a good game, he put in some dangerous crosses. Kevin Davies is an absolute...

Re: I come in peace... (2.0) i.e. a Manchester United fan
City were actually a very successful team back in the 60's with Mike Sumerbee and Colin Bell, etc. Anyway, he started attending games in the late 50's, roughly around the time of Munich. Nice try but City won the title once in the 60's, Utd won it twice... They also won an FA Cup, League Cup and a ...

Re: I come in peace... (2.0) i.e. a Manchester United fan
So you selected who you supported playing for your national team aswell then? Theres a theme developing here.... No, I'll support any player who wears the green shirt. McAteer is a gobshite though. I wouldn't mind if Coyle eventually became the Ireland manager. He'd hopefully give some of the young...

McAteer is a gobshite. Owen Coyle is Scottish. This is when the good ol' Granny rule comes into play.Lord Kangana wrote:See, loads.
One might be tempted to suggest that its got f*ck all to do with Irish links, and more trophy links.

The English clubs take all the good ones. Shamrock Rovers in Europe this season, Celtic and Rangers aren't.Beefheart wrote:Irish teams probably have a lot of Irish players too, and Rohan Ricketts.

Re: I come in peace... (2.0) i.e. a Manchester United fan
How the hell am I supposed to know. City weren't shite back then anyway. I seek da gloryz, innit? Utd were champions three times during the 1950's. City didn't win it once. So it looks like glory hunting runs in the family. City were actually a very successful team back in the 60's with Mike Sumerb...

Re: I come in peace... (2.0) i.e. a Manchester United fan
My Grandad has just informed me he once listened to a Beatles album, so I've decided to become a Liverpool fan. Don't worry I'm not a glory hunter, he listened to the album in the 50s but it's ok, I occasionally take pity on my local team too. My mother is a Scouser, doesn't mean I'd support Liverp...

No, we only cater to English speaking gloryhunters. I wouldn't be able to understand your Bolton accent though. O...

Re: Kakuta Signs (Loan)
He's stalled a bit over the past few months or so. He has the ability though, there's no doubt about that. I wouldn't be surprised if Coyle gets the best out of him, he's good at loaning in young players with potential.
