So Liverpool will bin Hodgson, and bring in the inexperienced Coyle. Righto. Just like they did when they appointed Kenny Dalglish you mean? Bad move that was. Won the double in his first season didn't he. I'm old enough to remember how that ended too.....I'll give you a clue.....they've not recove...

Just received the following text message from my source at the club - Deal done for January £10m + add ons. Great deal for the club. Coyle has pulled off a masterstroke. Gartside did feck all as usual but will probably claim the credit.

Coyle will stay providing that he is backed in the transfer market. He left Burnley because they lacked ambition and didn't back his plans to take them forward.
