Re: The BWSA

What do you really expect the club to say? This has already been raised, costing's done and may be implemented sooner than you think As for supporters Associations - I bet Eddie Davies takes as much notice of you as the Glazer's listen to the Green and White protesters at United - and there's far, ...

Re: The BWSA

Wow… didn’t realize the fuss discounting membership would cause! Ok let me answer a few points raised, We joined the bwsa committee in October, to find there where very few members due to the association having been in a steady decline for a number of years, We where also quite aware of the percepti...

Re: The BWSA

Two questions. Firstly, are we to take it from this that committee members get paid? The BWSA is looking for pro-active members who want to get involved both at a voluntary or committee level. Secondly, membership to the BWSA is only £5 for anybody with a season ticket. And for those that haven't? ...

Re: The BWSA

That's interesting. I'm hearing about people expressing interest on Twitter and via email and being ignored. How do you counter these claims? The twitter account isn't manned all the time so if there's nobody around at the time of a tweet, then it might not get answered immediatly, however we do ge...

Re: Would you like to see the club badge changed?

Only 52% said they would like to see the badge changed so that's not really enough of a mandate to take to the issue to BWFC, I'm afraid.

Re: New Shirt Sponsor?

Yep, as long as there is something to back up the argument we can take that to the club even if it is simply a quick email asking for an official response to the subject. That way the BWSA doesn't have to agree or disagree with the matter...it's simply acting on behalf of the supporters. Same goes f...

Re: New Shirt Sponsor?

If you run an online poll and more people favour a change (of any kind) than keeping the current badge then we'll happily raise the issue with the club and report back with their response.

Nat Lofthouse statue

The plans for a statue for Nat have already taken place between many supporters and BWFC. It's not something that can happen overnight because the statue costs many tens of thousands of pounds and the actual production of it takes many months. The BWSA has always believed that the design should be c...
