Re: Politics, The Election May 2015
So are those of us who are Scots that travel down to watch Bolton "the enemy within" in Hoboh's world?

Re: Politics, The Election May 2015
When the Royal Statistical Society asked the current crop of MPs a simple question about the probability of flipping a coin and getting two heads in a row, only 40% of them got the right answer. As a result the RSS is running a campaign to increase the statistical awareness of MPs. They will be offe...

Re: Politics, The Election May 2015
Tell you what's fecked up though, my nephew needed to get from Aberdeen to Glasgow. Ended up going BA via Heathrow as it was far cheaper than the train. No wonder the planet is fecked. Really? An Anytime single rail fare from Aberdeen to Glasgow is showing as £39.20 and return £68.80. Can't believe...

Re: At Home to Norwich...
Why do we always seems to be defending at the death instead of doing what the opposition are doing to us and going for the winner? How many is that now, eight? I agree, sitting back and trying to hold on for the point at the end just handed the initiative to them. Fair play to Alex Neil, I was a bi...

Re: Trains to Horwich Parkway in April
I'm up in Preston on the 10th - 12th April and planning on popping over to the Macron for the Norwich match on 11th April. Looks like there is a replacement bus service running from Preston to Horwich Parkway. Does anyone know what these buses are like on match days, is there enough for the demand?...

Not sure how much coverage it got in England but the other day's Ashcroft constituency Polls have created a bit of a stooshie up here. If these poll results were to be born out at the General Election then it is official, hell would have literally frozen over, I mean an SNP MP in Coatbridge, suggest...

Re: Tonight's Football
England played well and thoroughly deserved their win, absolute peach of a ball in for the first goal. Scotland only really became a threat during the final fifteen minutes and I hoped Robertson's goal (Sterling might as well have been a ghost for all the use he was) might produce a late albeit unde...

Having travelled down for the Wednesday game I hope it's a Yes vote and a steel fence is erected to prevent me from doing so again. This is quite an interesting article on the BBC website as I was completely unaware that there was a home rule movement in Scotland then. http://www.bbc.co.uk/ne...

If you want a look at one of Scotland's more interesting grounds you''be able to see Cowdenbeath playing Dunfermline now at Central Park on BBC Alba on the iplayer. Think you can get BBC Alba on Sky too.

In the Nurnberg v Werder match on Saturday night, Kiyotake of Nurnberg got the referee to change his mind from giving them a corner when he admitted the ball came of him last. Then to top that Aaron Hunt of Werder got the referee to change his decision on giving them a penalty when he admitted to no...

To answer my own question, you can buy them on-line but it needs to be purchased from the account of the Junior White Member.
The junior member needs their client reference activated for on-line use.

Good Evening fellow The Wanderer postees. I'm off to the match tomorrow but can anyone or does anyone know if you can order junior whites tickets for the game via the e-ticketing service. Has anyone else had an experience with getting junior whites tickets that can help that doesn't involve me phon...

I recently started using the chess by post app that's available for most smart phones. It's a modern take on correspondence chess and matches you up with players of a similar ranking. Can also do challenges against opponents whos usernames you know. Interesting form of chess notation used above! 1. ...

Re: A new low in kid's footy?
A lad in here was at Ardrie v Livi last night. At full time some of the home fans voiced their opinions on the Airdrie goalie. Who then grabbed one of the fans by the throat. That's the spirit. Goalie left the club by mutual consent the following day. He was really shite, so couldn't have worked ou...

Brides all round for tea on Saturday night.
Looking forward to their visit to Airdrieonians a fortnight on Friday, when hopefully all their infighting is still continuing.

Re: National Football Museum
Museum itself is well worth a visit, the optional extras though are a complete rip off, for example £2.50 to play a passing game that lasts all of 60secs, and £5 for a penalty shootout game.

Anyone been there since it relocated from PNE to Manchester and if so how did you rate it? It seems to be getting quite good reviews on TripAdvisor albeit the football plus stuff is criticised as being a bit dear. I was wondering if that section was a bit like Kevin Keegan's Soccer Circus setup for ...

Still can't believe given where we were at Christmas that we have the chance to win against Blackpool to guarantee a play off place. Whatever happens a truly magnificent turn around to even have this opportunity.

Youth Policy perhaps taken at bit too far ....
I was at the Airdrie v Livingston SFL1 match today where Airdrie finished the match with a 14 year old and 16 year upfront in a team that had 4 players still at school.
