I'm in agreement with what the league demands - but sometimes a game needs that extra spark and quality to win a 0-0. We don't have to start him but I'd rather keep him till the end of the year, even if he is on a fair bit of money. Fair point but in what game are we ever in a position being "0-0" ...

I think we have more priorities than a centre mid, we have enough in that department already and by getting another would only open us up for bids for Mavis/Holden etc. another striker and keeper as a minimum.

Defoe + Jenas for Cahill = Deal, Jenas could do a job for us on the right wing and he's bound to be behind Huddlestone, Rose, van der Vaart, Palacios, Kranjcar, Lennon and Modric in the pecking order, worth an enquiry.

It's not the end of the world, maybe mavies could play there, Barton played on the right for toon last year and he's a centre mid or maybe we could push mears up in a bale type role for spurs, forwards still have to be our priority because it doesn't matter how many crosses we put in if there won't ...

I don't see any benefit for Coyle in moving to Villa, yes a bigger club but not one in his heart which is the reason he came here in the first place and with losing Young, Friedel and potentially Downing then its more than a rebuild job.
